What is the benefit of using that app compared to the native?
Sorry for the late answer- I’ve been running 😉🏃‍♂️
It integrates with intervals.icu, so I got my training pushed from fysio to watch. I was with Løberlab on Nørrebro.

Hope your recovery is progressing well. I am up to 59 km's (37 miles) and approx 15 activities since we last spoke. After having 3 months of no running, with a little bit of walking, the journey back to where I was, will take some time. My Garmin Fenix 8 died, and although Garmin were to send a replacement, as the model I had, has developed some issues with firmware upgrades across the board, I asked for the ability to upgrade, and pay the difference. They instead refunded me, so that I could go out and buy the upgrade myself. I looked at the Fenix 8 Pro, and didn't like what they have done to the bezels, and then the Forerunner 970, but laggy. I researched many YT videos, and came to the conclusion, the Apple Watch Ultra 3 is good enough for me.
I'm using the Runna App, and the workout data screens are good. Would love to somehow have Lacate Threshold estimation available, and VO2 max better presented, but I'm not in my 30's, and need to get off the data wagon wheel.
Speedy recovery mate - hope you will be back stronger. I am fortunately completely back and have been on a comeback-block training for Boston next Monday (first time - REALLY excited) and everything has been going super well - with many of my long runs actually better than ever, so fingers crossed Monday will be perfect.

You will be super happy with the Ultra 3 - I have loved it for my training as a great running watch and to have build in phone/Apple Music etc. is just on top a great package.

What an absolute blast. 3.02.44 was a bit short of my goal and 9 minutes off my PB, but the course is one mean one - it’s known for the Newton hills but there is tons of rolling hills and they nearly killed my 🫣😁

I know now, why this race is so special and one of a kind. Absolutely insane crowd for all 42K

I’ve done a few times 😉 you had a big tailwind this year, and they make you faster in sections you don’t want to!

Yes weather was pretty much perfect - my goal was Sub3 and has everything in control until a right calf cramp around 38 meant I had to slow down a bit to not blow up. All previous marathons have been flat so new experience but loved it

Is anyone noticing that, for custom workouts, total elevation is not being calculated since watchOS 26? The elevation chart is still displayed on the workout, it's just the total that is missing. This happens in the Workout app as well as WorkOutDoors.
It's not every workout but it is most of them. I've created a feedback with Apple, but I've only seen one other report online so not sure how widespread it is.
Just noticed this, and the same is true for the widget on the "Overview". The custom trainings do have a graph of elevation, but no numbers.
Pretty dissapointed at the moment since this week has been slow due to a lot of elevation 😀
