I would forgetting trying to remove as it will accelerate the coating's removal. These micro scratches can only be see under certain lighting or bright sunlight. The ionX actually will scratch if not careful.Oh, ok. Just scratches on the oleophobic coating? Can they be removed? Does the same thing happen on the ionX glass?
No, they cannot be removed. The only thing that you will notice if the oleophobic coating scratches, is they can slowly fade away, because the oleophphobic coating is naturally organic that will dissipate over time touching the dispay, but will have some variable visibility.Oh, ok. Just scratches on the oleophobic coating? Can they be removed? Does the same thing happen on the ionX glass?
I didn’t think the glass is coated, I think it’s just the Stainless Steel that is coated but only the Space Black and Gold.I have looked at everyone of my Sapphire Crystal watches in bright light. I dont see a single micro-scratch. Apple cant call something Sapphire Crystal if its not going to perform like one. I would be quite upset to see this happen at all let alone in such a short period.
My Sapphire Crystals are all super smooth so why coat them??
