so was mine, I just went into a store and I’ll return the other one when it’s delivered. I sold my series 4 two weeks ago; it was too weird not having my watch on

I got the single loop black Hermes band for my SBSS S4, it is gorgeous.
I returned it, I didn’t think it was as customizable as the Editions, plus I work from home and didn’t think I’d wear the band info to warrant the price.

you are like the rest of us. I spend two hours trying to figure out which out bound UPS flight my watch was on. Two 763 planes took off about 7 minutes apart. The later plane landed before the earlier one. I determined, well perhaps a guess, mine was one the one that landed first based on the short arrival scan time.
It was 36 hours from Anchorage to delivery.

Not too pink at all. Less pink than the woven nylon berry

Ok so my watch issue. Spoke to tech support and they suggested what i had already done. Switched it off and on again and then re-paired it. Still rebooting by itself every two minutes. Crown and side buttons are ok. So they say it sounds like a hardware fault and to get it replaced. Yeah like thats gonna be easy.
Spoke to Sales to see I could get an express replacement...not a chance.
Will take it back to my local retail store tomorrow for a refund
They wont have any replacements in stock so just been on line and delivery times for my ceramic with Meyer Lemon leather band is now 21st-26th December :eek: Its that damn band.
So i have ordered a replacement with lemon cream sport band and delivery times are 4th- 11th November so thats better. Ordered the Meyer lemon leather band separately and that has a delivery date of early December.
Trip to my Apple store for a refund tomorrow.
Jeez, not a good day :(

So even if you take it in for repair, they won’t have anything available to replace it with before November? That seems like poor form on their part, especially for the edition line. They really should have a (small) separate stock for replacements and repairs.

Exactly. They have no available stock for replacement. The guy in sales told me that stocks are very limited and wont get easier until January. Still with a 4th November date, i am expecting that to jump forward by a fortnight as that is normally the pattern so hopefully just a three week wait

Call AppeCare. I had a problem with my Ceramic S2 (I think it was that version) and I had an express replacement in 2 days. Good luck!

I just ordered a new S5 ceramic (AUS) and the estimated delivery is in 10 days, so supply is fine.

Def try that bc 5e sales dept. is useless when it comes to exchanges. Might want to add AppleCare+ first. They’ll do it on the phone but sometimes that process takes awhile, but these aren’t in that short supply. Oct 15th in the USA depending on the band.
Oh and use the Apple Support app and chat. They are amazing via the app. Chatted at noon about a Hermès S4 problem. Had a new watch the next day via AppleCare. Might take 3-4 days but should be pretty quick. Good luck!

Just sent Tim Cook a polite email expressing my disappointment that although I accept that products can fail, that for a flagship product there is no stock for immediate replacement for brand new products and that to replace my watch with a like for like is a 10 to 12 week wait. I am not expecting a reply but you never know.

Sorry but that’s awful. Maybe it’s because I am located in the USA? The chat app has never let me down before.

In pictures I’d agree with this statement. In real life the watch has a sheen that’s hard to describe and looks very premium.
I’m extremely picky and went Ceramic over Hermès this year because I was disappointed with the Hermès bands and casing options.
My hope is three things:
1. A more special Edition box experience (Hermès is so much better than the Ceramic Edition)
2. Apple makes ceramic specific bands with proper ceramic lugs and a ceramic link bracelet
3. Hermès gets special high end casing options so I can go back to the Hermès watch if 1 & 2 above don’t happen

My wife said the same thing about the ceramic. I have 10 days to decide between it and the nior Hermès

I love Hermès but the Noir is a SBSS with a black swift leather band. Does it get any more boring than that? And no other Hermès band has black lugs which is so disappointing. I’m already looking forward to the spring band refresh ha.

I love the Noir watch face though and wish that style was on the SS Hermès. I was so excited when Apple announced the S5, but after two weeks of ownership I’m kind of disappointed...
