S5 Ceramic Owners

I wonder whether the ceramic models were a Jony Ive thing similar to the original gold and rose gold models. Now that Jony is no longer working at Apple, they're sticking with the cheaper and easier to manufacture metal models.

That being said - was Tim Cook rocking the ceramic S5 (or unreleased ceramic S6!?) in both the September and October events??
 
I’m a year late to the party. But it’s all good. Just got a Ceramic S5 and put my Space Black Stainless Steel bracelet on it.

I got my S6 SS a few weeks back, and started lusting for a ceramic model. I just didn't pay attention to them over the years.

So, I started looking on eBay for a S5. Pulled the trigger on one this Wednesday, and it arrived this afternoon. Still had 14 months left on AppleCare, battery health is 100%, and it's flawless.

Are you still gonna keep your S6 SS?

People at work (who also have an Apple Watch) ask me about my Series 5 Ceramic. “What Watch is that?”, “How comes it’s so white?”.

I just say it’s a special edition one.

It’s far more striking than my older Series 3 Ceramic in grey.

i saw this auction 2 days ago :) not a bad price for 950euro, the watch itself looked really like new.
Im sure you will love the Ceramic Edition. I normally upgrade every year to a new AW Series. This is the first time i didn't, since i got the Ceramic Edition last year i cant move to anything else now :) ...
The watch is so unique and good looking & it doesn't get boring.

So bummbed right now. I'm thinking of selling my perfectly taken care of Series 5 ceramic 40mm. Covid hit our family hard this December. No Christmas since all of us were quarantined into different room. Thank goodness for the new Siri intercom to mess with each other during the day. Any ideas friends?

Are you selling because you’re not wearing it any more or you need the money?
If you can afford it then try to hang on to it. It’s such a classy Watch that you’d be sad to see it go.

I love mine, but the 44mm size is too big and bulky for my tiny arms - which I'm really sad about, as I wanted the S5 ceramic edition since it's release and finally got it this november on eBay... I've put it up for sale in the marketplace in here.

How do you access the marketplace?
 
There’s been a few S5 Ceramic’s popping up on eBay. Maybe one a week. Prices starting from £800 and going up.

I just joined the ceramic party, through the most random purchase ever! Had been window shopping on eBay at them when by complete chance I stumbled on this!

Quickest buy it now I’ve ever done although I expected it to be a stainless that was labelled wrong, as per the picture. But nope, it really was a ceramic!

sure, that this is a full ceramic watch? As the aluminium watches have a ceramic back, this is printed around the sensor-field on its back =/ i really do hope i am wrong here and you yoinked a real ceramic!!
