It's a Beta. I know some people regard this as an excuse by developers to 'prerelease' buggy software, but even if this wasn't a beta, you would still expect the same kinds of issues.
1) A lot of the problems don't lie with Safari itself - you cannot expect Apple to test all of its software for every single thirdparty app, hack, or whatever, regardless of how popular that app may be.
2) You cannot expect thirdparty developers to magically foretell the future about Apple OS changes. Give them some time to patch up their software.
