I have mixed feelings about these phone, but everyone's needs are different.

Glasstic back - I don't have an issue with this, my A71 has a glasstic back and hardly feels any different to the glass back on my S7 Edge, and it's nice to have it around the house without a case as it's clearly less vulnerable to shattering.

Camera array - It's different at least. Not saying I love it or anything but I think it looks better in the muted or non contrasting colours. The silver and black ones look nice. The pink/purple and gold is too much. I'd need to hold one before I make my final judgement.

Flat screen - Again, don't mind this as I think curved screens are pointless and unnecessary. If you want this 'premium' feature then get the Ultra. I much prefer the flat screen on my A71 over the S7 Edge.

My main problem with these is the lack of SD card support. That is an instant 'no purchase' for me, alongside the lack of headphone jack.

Either way I'm sticking with my A71.

Whatever floats your boat, but I can't unsee this.
that's basically why I said "Those look terrible" lol

No phones are going to have headphone jacks. Get over it and also SD cards are for cameras not phones. And I mean real cameras that take 15K photos etc, not cheap cameras that take 4K/8K videos. iCloud and other services like iCloud are far superior than using an SD card in a phone. SD cards are prone to failure anyways and it's a great thing that we are moving away from them. They are better suited for video game consoles that actually require them (because cloud gaming is still slow for now) so downloading the game is still better and for expensive cameras because exporting a true RED CAMERA 15K video or photo could take time and the SD cards speed that up (for now but in the future even these cameras will have the speed to upload to cloud instead)

Well I just watched the "Apple Show" on CNET starring the very boring and non-innovative Galaxy S21(+). Then I had to be burdened with a presentation showing this nonsense called "Phantom Black". LMAO. Samsung copied more this time (including Apple's presentation) than they ever have. Bad enough is the ugly camera design that looks like traffic lights and the very protruding bezel. Yuk!

well I didn’t watch the presentation. And I’m full apple. Kinda always have been. But that phone looks slick, and the color is awesome. The camera actually looks better than iPhones by a long shot IMO. How it blends into the sides and everything. Feels futuristic, but also Industrial. If I wasn’t into the apple system so hard and enjoyed android... this phone looks wise, is awesome, and would be an instant grab

Not when it comes to real world use, changing between camera modes doesn’t lag like on androids, never experience any lag on iOS when using a iPhone, same can’t be said about android phones.

There is always noticeable lag when using android phones, even on their flagship models.

Plus a iPhone with less than half the ram compared to these android devices runs way smoother.

Also iPhones have smaller batteries than android phones, yet they still put them to shame, that comes down to the chipset.

Apples chipsets are legendary, been leading the industry for a long time now, wouldn’t call it misleading
An iPhone with far less ram can’t have 2 apps open simultaneously on the same page and refreshes apps in the background aggressively.
