Hey you're the one that said it. I'm just repeating it for you to show you how creepy that sounds.

Remember, it's just a phone...

It is just a phone, exactly. And it is my choice not to ever buy a Samsung in my lifetime even if Samsung buys Apple someday.

Same meme, same creepy posts by the anti-Apple fans bashers in an Apple community fansite. :p

I guess while it was an option previously nobody actually bothered to use it. I know people with Samsung phones who just use them 'out the box', well because, that is what 99% of all phone users doing. It's the geeks that do stuff with that, and there are only a handful, not the real market to cater for.

I alway said that if Apple could supply phones with Sim card fixed in they would do that. Anything the user changes he can mess up.

That's Kool-Aid talk.

Samsung. Rustling Apple fanboys jimmies since 2010 :)
Samsung is just doing what they need to and using a design that is popular (Alluminum and glass).

When and who made aluminium and glass become popular?

They don't own the rights to be the only company to incorporate these materials into a phone design. Apple used the same strategy by making bigger phones. They technically got the idea of a phablet from Samsung, because Samsung was the first company to introduce anything like that. But no one called that copying. As for Samsung Pay, they had every right to use that name. Fanboys will always defend a company with opinions. Never with facts

By your logic, If I built a 2 bedroom (size) house from Aluminium and glass (material) after you built a 2 bedroom house from brick and glass

Is the same level of copying as me building a 3 bedroom house (size) from Aluminium and glass (material) and you building a 1 bedroom (size) house from Aluminium and glass (material)
I'd like to see your facts, please and thank you.

And here is proof Samsung is copying!:

Sure and nothing wrong with that. I'm just saying it's better to live with a Samsung phone than dying to avoid using a Samsung phone.

Oh right, keep going with that fandroid-meme. How difficult it is? I will be living in my lifetime without any Samsung product. Samsung-free since birth ...

They're not a flagship phone. So, how is that an answer?
Note 4 ? S5 ? What does the flagship part matter ?

----------

1: I do own a Note 4, not that I have to "prove" anything to you, I gladly can/will if you just absolutely must have proof.

2: I was joking, mostly.

Point was: I am just not happy about a company that publicly says something, makes commercials making fun of another companies customers, then making a product that goes against quite a few things they talked about in those commercials.
Are you now talking about apple or Samsung ?

Missing some key features

Samsung has always had the upper hand on apple due to the upgradable storage and battery. The fact that they took those features out could cause a huge problem with sales. My one friend for example has already decided he's dropping samsung for his phone and moving to HTC. I personally like the new design but it's not going to go over well for samsung users.

No SD and removable battery are interesting. are they THAT confident in their new stores that they can replace the faults in these? Having worked for 5 years as a phone salesman in the UK, the amount of faults these samsung phones have out the box is incredible. It will be a significant increase in costs if they have to replace the whole unit just for the battery issues.

Doesn't look anything special however. much the same as the previous from the front.

Wouldn't they just take them apart and replace it?
When I had an issue with the SIM tray in a galaxy S4, the Samsung repair centre in Manchester were going to replace the sim tray, and had to order it in.

Not so relevant: Eventually I got told they couldn't do it, cos it wasn't a UK model, it was apparently a Singapore model and they weren't authorised to repair those. So I filed for return with Amazon (was 2 months old), and got a refund. The listing on Amazon said it was a UK model.

I'm surprised they dropped the removable battery, MicroSD card slot and it isn't waterproof.

Feels like a step back from the previous Galaxy to me.

Ativ s, a line . are you saying you know every Samsung model ?

No, not at all.

That's why I say - please, show me an image of a model which indeed fits better.

So you are saying that this -

Looks more than this -

Come on guys, apple didn't invent the word pay. This is pure coincidence. The market was leaning toward this. They would have come out with this even if apple didn't introduce apple pay.

Apple also didn't invent fingers, nfc, or the periodic table of elements. Samsung's not copying

Lol. Samsung pay.

In before someone says Samsung copied the rounded sides of iPhone 6

Samsung Ativ S (2012)

Great catch. Yep that phone beat the i6 by years. But it isn't like the Samsung copied that 2012 phone. They copied the i6 in that they looked at what Apple had done (and which had just sold well) and then I'm sure they modified some of their design to match what Apple was doing. It is coincidental that this brings them back to a design they had in 2012.

At the end, the ressemble is only the bottom of the phone. No matter what they release, people would've found anything to say Samsung is copying Apple.

*Samsung-free life since birth*

Unless you have 0 tech, that's almost impossible.

Everyone copies everyone. Yes Samsung has copied Apple on some things but Apple have copied their fair share of stuff. Quit crying foul everyone.
