Replaceable battery gone (welcome to the 'wall-huggers' party). SD card slot gone.
You could actually argue they're going the route that Google wants to them to since the Nexus devices with stock Android do not have replaceable batteries nor SD slots.

The S6 Edge looks like a pretty nice phone. Too bad TouchWiz is still around though and ruins it.

I will like to have wireless charging on my iPhone .... Without the hum sound that some devices made while charging on certain conditions. Do any one knows is this phone bends? That will make it a clear copy of the iPhone 6

Low light vs the iPhone 6 plus!

What Samesung have copied:

Moving headphone jack to the bottom
No expandable storage
No removable battery
A fingerprint scanner that'll now work
Same naming for their payment system

I'm wondering how the Samsung-philes are taking the news of losing a couple of their prized features (removable battery, sd card)?

Bless.

They copied the next number in the serie?
Btw you forgot the mention tocuh screen and phone functionality .

Probably the same way some felt when apple went from 3.5/4" to even bigger .

btw are there actually people as crazy about samsung as some are about apple? Always find it strange how people can be almost enslaved by a company only wanting profits from you .

Samsung pay will work with and without NFC? That's pretty awesome! I'd like to see a demo.

The SD card sux now that it's gone but at least they got rid of 16gb and now give us a base of 32gb.

The battery is no problem because it will charge from 0 to 100 in 30 min and a 10 min blast will give the phone 4 hours of usage.

Samsung went on record saying it's the fastest charging battery in the world.it will charge in half the time the iPhone 6 does and has a way bigger battery then the iPhone 6

I like it. Glass & metal is sexy. Samsung pay will be a sucess... Much better thought option. Not sure what the Edge will provide in terms of functionality. Camera looks awesome, I hope Apple will bump up the megapixels in 6s. 3 gigs of ram now being the standart, I really hope apple will stop playing cheap and give us at least 2 gigs in 6s. Overall, Samsung did really will this time. Sgs5 was a disaster. Let's see what price will they charge for this. I'm pretty sure that if it is more expensive than the 6 no one will buy it.

Samsung is too busy trying to steal iPhone users, instead they should focus on keeping their current fans and buyers. This is such a copy it's insane. Not even so much in just the physical aspects, but taking away expandable memory and a removable battery, those are things that are cherished by the Android community. Again, they're trying to pull iFans over. I'm willing to bet more people have switched from Android to Apple, then vice versa. If they keep making their flagship so identical to the iPhone, their own fans will simply get the iPhone. The curved screen (although I dont think I'd ever personally want it) is sort of neat I suppose, however I tend to keep my phone face up. Just wow. Another example of companies like Samsung HIGHLIGHTING the fact that Apple leads the pack and the rest act as sheep. "Samsung Pay" are you kidding me?

And I cant wait for the iPhone to get wireless charging. Better be on the 6S.

Pretty sure the manufacturer gets a cut of every transaction, so using their own systems brings in revenue. Also, Samsung has been trying to extricate themselves from the grip of Google/Android for years (Tizen, TouchWiz, etc.), so this is another way to slowly move services away from Google and into their own house.

Yes that is true, Samsung have been trying to move away and into their own services and systems. I think they'll need some luck doing it though.

With removing the hardware differentiators what you have left is a nice looking glass and metal phone saddled with Samsung's horrible interface. The versatility of previous models has largely been removed.

At this point there is no real reason to not go with an iPhone. Same quality materials, similar hardware specs, better interface.

The camera and cpu is a lot better on the gs6

Much nicer

If this phone turns out to have a better battery life than the iPhone 6 I could be interested.
The only thing is the lack of a range of headphones with volume control and I'd have to get stock Android on it. That Touchwiz OS is F ing awful.

No SD slot and no removable battery? I've been hearing about how great these are for eight years. That's why iPhones suck. Right?

This is so good. LOL.

Eh ? Who buys iphones because of materials, hardware specs ?
You do that because you want to be in Apple's ecosystem. Because you want
iOS.

Well i assume they had to sacrifice these because of the new improved charging ? For the SD slot ...did not android drop the SD card support ?

Unfortunately samsung does not understand how to make software.

That escalated quickly! Ahh samesung, I have always hated how the rear camera always look so bulbous and hideous.
But I do agree that they made a phone that is peculiarly similar to their biggest rival.
As always. Apple FTW.

2007-2011: Samsung is screwed, so they copy Apple.

2011-2014: Samsung is doing well, so they try their own ideas, which were goofy and laughably stupid.

2015-???: Samsung is screwed again, so they copy Apple.
