I'm really curious about something- are water resistant phones like this one merely designed for accidental submersions, or are they intended to be used in places like a bathtub or a pool? I mean, I see that both phones can withstand being in 5 feet of water for 30 minutes, but are there any long term implications for repeatedly submersing these devices?

In the reveal video it says it can be used in the rain, shower and pool. So I assume it means maybe even underwater pictures, etc in a average pool

About gotta stop being cheap and start their baseline iPhones and iPads at 64gb of storage. Enough of this 16gb crap after so many years.

No way, 80 billion in profits isn't enough man, how dare you criticize Apple's profit margin, gotta stay at 40% and increase to 45% this year, I'd suggest offering 8GB for iPhone 7 since you know, Apple music and icloud takes care of everything. ;)

Definitely yes, this is the flagship product that 'threatens' the iPhone, as a MR user I'm interested in what Apple is going against, and what the competition is, and enjoy discussing it with my fellow MR colleagues ;)

Ah, this is just a S6 - V2. Probably Apple doesn't have to worry about too much. If the S6 didn't sway away too many users, then the S7 probably won't do so either.

If of course, Apple drops the 3.5 mm Headphone jack, and upsets a lot of people, then who knows.

Personally I find the LG G5 far more innovative with its modular design. That is cool and should have been on the front page!

But just for the record: I would like expandable storage on an iPhone as well.

Looks, yes. But functionally? Vast improvements over the previous model.

How the hell do you know? Have you used it; no, so it's an absurd comment. It is kinda funny because I can dig up so comments from last year which were all about the S6 killing the 6... Well we know what happened then.
