Thing is I have both gear S2 and apple watch so there would be no agenda here with my testing.Oh mate, you are simply wrong, so am I as well. I've just read that a professional reviewer posing as a MR know it all says we will be lucky to get 4 to 6 hrs when they advertise 24 hrs. But here's the thing, they are bragging that the AW gets the 18 hrs they advertise, as somehow they are happy to get less than a full day out of a wearable.
I did a small test last nite, my battery was on 18% when I went to bed at 11pm, and at 8 this morn, was down to 9%, so basically a percent an hour with screen turned off. I think I can live with that.
using my apple watch at the moment with my 6S plus as my daily driver for now and took my apple watch off charger at 5am and by 11pm it had about 7% left. Which is fine and all as it lasted me all day but in my normal usage I would have about 30-40% left on my gear at worse with workouts included.
I have not downloaded the new apple watch update yet so i dunno if that update improves my battery life anymore
