If you think this is bad you should see the absolutely desolate ghost town they call a "store" that they built across from the Apple Store near my town. My god. I've never seen a store so empty. It really doesn't help that it's gargantuan.

Exactly. I only use WhatsApp to keep in touch with friends, close family members and work.

As a European, it's hard for me to relate to this mind boggling non-issue. If people won't reply to me because they consider me inferior due to phone brand I use, all the better. I don't need such douches in my life. Also, do people still think iPhones are a status symbol? You know you can get them with plans and no upfront payment? I know people who starve the last few days of each month but boast new iPhone XS (sadly, no MacBooks because even with financing those are too pricey for such personas).

European here too. Everyone uses WhatsApp and I hate it.

The green and yellow colors look like they have been eaten before. the functionality is limited. It’s Facebook owned!! Why does no one seem to care? And they still don’t have an iPad version!?

So are SMS and MMS free to send in the US or why do you have group chats using them? In Europe it's all WhatsApp etc. and it's partly because they are free to use. I only use iMessage with my parents.

Same in Finland. There’s some movement towards Telegram thanks to WhatsApp’s FB connections, but WhatsApp is still dominant.

Green bubbles are for losers. I've read profiles on dating sites where girls have said don't even bother if you're a green bubble guy.

It’s awfully nice of them to be so upfront about the issue. If I were in the market so to say, I’d appreciate such a quick filter for petty and superficial people. I prefer women who are not outsourcing their thinking and decision-making to their friends.
