To see a sneak peak at the future Samsung devices of tomorrow, look back at the Apple devices of two years ago.

Nope. Samsung has no future now.

S.Korea has just been taken off from Japan's "white list" few hours ago.

They got busted selling off restricted materials used for semiconductor production to N.Korea, Iran, Syria, etc to be used for developing nukes, VX gas, etc.

Samsung (plus virtually all of S.Korea tech/car industry) is dead. Period.

Why do you suggest they stop doing this? They made fun of Apple in what, 2016-2018? Now they're doing what they made fun of Apple for, and they'll stop making fun of them. In 2016-2018, they may have sold phones because of their ad campaign.

Do you really think the average joe consumer is gonna be like "wait a minute... didn't they make fun of Apple in 2016-2018 about the lack of a headphone jack?! Samsung sucks because of that!!"

No, they won't. No one even remembers that ad campaign. Samsung buyers will just complain about its lack of headphone jack like Apple users, Sony users, Huawei users, Xiaomi users, OnePlus users, etc.

The only people that would hold a grudge against a company based on an ad campaign their marketing team came up with in the past are people on forums like this. Whether that ad campaign was effective or not is irrelevant, but people aren't going to change their minds in 2019+ because of it.
I agree! The way things are going, wired headphones will be a thing of the past! Which is great, once the latency has gone! Battery life is great now, sound quality superb. Latency the only problem. I would love to buy a pair of Powerbeats and play games without a lag wirelessly.

It was possible to do this and I had a pair of headphones that used KLEER. Ticked all the boxes and no lag with games. Dead now though :(

The headphone dongle continues to be the bane of my existence. They break, I lose them, they fall apart, the connector gets loose and they fall out causing me to lose connection. The USB-C connector is a lot worse than the headphone connector it is seeking to replace and it creates a horrible experience. Unfortunately this is an industry problem now not just an Apple problem with no relief in sight. Apple please restore the headphone jack on the iPhone 11!

Why not just upgrade to a set of BT headphones? This thing of complaining about dongles and connectors is silly at best, once you realize that you can have a wireless experience with zero tangled or eventually frayed cables. I’ve not used any wired headsets in years and can’t imagine ever going back. About the only thing wired headphones are good for, especially bud sized sets, is twirling them with the cable, wrapping and unwrapping them around your finger. That is, until the wire eventually frays and they stop working.

This forum is pure comedy, it's like Apple invented wireless audio, man they should make us pay to read some comments :D:D:D.

People referring to a commercial of 3 years ago, 3 years in tech is like AGES.

Yes let's blame Samsung for "Copying" (like really people do really care who "invented what?"), while we all plug our phone with our comp... err no can't do that without a dongle, well at least i can plug my headphone with my Mac...ehm no can't do that as no lightning port, well i can use them with my iPa....hmm no.. charge my Apple pencil with my Mac.... hmm no

Wait I can use my iPad thumbstick with my iPho...hmm no...oh well...

At the very least, Samsung is using a standard.

What’s an iPad thumbstick?

Bwa ha ha ha haaaa! Seriously, bwa ha ha ha haaa! One less thing for some trolls to be bitter about.
Yeah... because that's the important thing... stickin' it to the trolls.

I never understood why some people are so against choice. Samsung removing the headphone jack from their flagship is a bad thing because it reduces the number of alternatives for consumers. But then again I don't understand the whole us vs. them mentality that is so prevalent.

It is an important thing, yes. There is too much trolling, too much fact distorting, and too much mayhem caused by trolls. Anything that sticks it to them is a good thing in my opinion.

Ok in the grand scheme of things removing the headphone jack isn’t a big deal however Samsung do deserve so flack because they made a big deal of Apple for doing it.

However this isn’t correct at all. I mean large OLED displays were on Samsung years before the iPhone. Then there’s the wide angle lens and reverse wireless charging. Both on Samsung first. Swipe keyboard on android for years. The depth sensor coming next year on Samsung this year.

While I agree with the first part, I don’t agree with the second part.

None of these technologies were invented by android, and Apple gets flack for “copying” android, where the reality is android “copies” the invention same as Apple. Now android may make innovations on top of the invention and Apple copies and innovates on top of that, but that's the way of the world.

Choice is good, but getting rid of “old tech” is better. Floppy disks, vhs, etc...change is tough and slow.
