How low will Samsung go?

They are trying REALLY hard. All over facebook advertising , releasing "it doesn't take a genius ad. Their commercials making fun of people waiting in line for iphone. If they would just advertise like anyone else they may actually do good.

Its the LTE chip technology they are suing for. HTC and Samsung came up with it or something, idk Im kinda ignorant to that part. But they came up with the technology to connect with LTE. Really stupid.

How is it stupid? Thank them for having faster-than-home data connection. I don't see you inventing such technology.

This seems a little ridiculous considering the phone isn't even out yet. I have an idea, wait until it come out and you can inspect it, and then make the decision.

That's what the article said... That's what Samsung is planning on doing.

If Iphone 5 is banned in the united states then hopefully they start shipping to more countries sooner :p

I don't know the details... But this article states that it is ADDING iPhone 5 to the current pending lawsuit against the 4/4s. Since the 4/4s isn't an LTE device, I'm guessing this isn't the LTE lawsuit we are hearing about but rather something different.

4/4S is all about patents related to 3G I believe

Samsung is just pissed that nobody gives a ******* to stand in line for their phones.

LTE is a standard developed by multiple companies. Therefore, all related patents will be ruled FRAND and Apple would never have their products banned over it.

AFAIK, the bar for granting a preliminary injunction against selling the iPhone 5 would be quite high. That doesn't mean that Apple isn't in violation of any of Samsung's patents - I have no way of knowing that. But, either way, this move is expected in the never-ending back-and-forth legal battle.

FRAND or not, it seems that Apple is not paying license for it so their products can still be banned.
