I might switch back to Android, specifically a S26 this weekend due to a Best Buy Labor Day say. I was a long time Android die hard and six years ago was getting bored and switched to iphone, an 11 at the time and have been on iphone since then. I'm mentally done with the frustration caused by the ios keyboard and gesture navigation system. I want the bottom navigation bar back! lol
With that said I don't anticipate any problems and if my understanding is correct I'll be able to copy over my text messages. On iphone I use gmail for my mail, browser I don't care what I'm using, I use google photos so no problems there. I already exported my contact list off my iphone as well as my usernames/passwords into file form to import on a new phone.
Anything I might be missing? I don't really keep much data of any type on my phone. As long as the alarms work the same since I use my phone as an alarm clock, and as long as the "do not disturb" after 9pm works like on iphone so I don't get woken up in the night with my phone dinging and yet the alarm clock will still ring in the morning I should be good.
