As a former Note 2 owner before I went back to Apple with the 6 Plus let me say that even the Galaxy S9 is making me want to switch back. I'd suffer with the applications (or lack thereof) in the Android world (Scrivener, iWork, iTunes, and a few others aren't on Android for obvious reasons) but the Note 2 was one heck of a workhorse phone.

The iPhone Plus comes close, but say what you will, that tiny little stylus made the different when it came to jotting down information and navigating a LARGE but still small screen for hours.

But they all got announced at IFA/Samsung unpacked which is in August. Release dates were always later due to production and staggering the release in different regions.

Iris scanner is secure enough but it’s crap. Turned it off on my note 8.
[doublepost=1530213364][/doublepost]
They don’t but they are all at it. All the companies, google, Apple, amazon do it. Apple are rich because they sell a lot of high end devices period.

Funny how you lie all the time, prove your crap or lose it bud.

You got me, red handed. I am biased against stupid advertisements. Feel free to peruse my post history, I criticize Apple's stupid ads plenty as well.

I don't understand why you feel so superior.

They pay the appropriate taxes including a huge amount of VAT put on their products in Europe; in fact they're one of companies that pay the most.
You can verify that instead of spitting nonsense.
They respected Irish tax laws; it's Ireland seemingly that fracked up and that's what this whole thing is all about.

If you hate the current tax laws, bitch about that instead.
[doublepost=1530209623][/doublepost]

LoL so much nonsense.
In Europe VAT is a tax paid by the individual(natural person). Generally all companies can recover the VAT they would pay.
Apple made an illegal agreement with Ireland. It was extremely naive of them to think they could get away with it. Apple should have taken the necessary steps to ensure they correct the situation but they didn't, Ireland has no fault. It's like I would to a car shop and ask them to do some modifications and they would comply with my request but would not recommend it. It case something would happen with the car it would still be my fault.

The nonsense is yours buddy, the company collects it, and the state doesn't get anything if you don't sell anything.
The state is mighty happy to collect this money that they otherwise would not have.
These people could instead decide to stick in the bank or in real estate; consumption tax only works if you consume.
Thus, they get money from fracking Apple doing business in their jurisdiction. Got that buddy.

Talking about nonsense, you just lied your ass off about the Irish thing.
Go lie somewhere else, on Android heaven or some crap device worshiping site.

LoL. If a company doesn't sell anything it doesn't sell anything and has no real reason to exist.
Funny how you try to disagree with me and you start with even more nonsense.

That's quite a funny assumption. Apple sells phones, laptops etc. not something unique that can't be replaced in any way.

They get money for every single thing that it's officially sold on the market. VAT is an universal tax. Got that buddy?
Anyway you claimed that Apple pays VAT and that is incorrect.

I didn't lie about anything. I know the case very well and I've read EU's Commission report. Apple will be forced pay the money they own in taxes that is very clear, so they are guilty and there is no way around it.

This.

They are all guilty of it too. Amazon and google are Tax evaders too.

An effective tool in the strategic battle against competitors is a marketing-driven first-announcement campaign. Apple is smart enough not to get caught up in this whirlpool of "dynamic" competitors. In addition, Apple's consumer market is stable and does not allow itself to be irritated by jumping jacks.

So, talking nonsense and don't care huh. Well good riddance to you buddy. Won't miss your "truth".

So in August we'll have all kinds of news about how the Note 9 is the best thing ever, then in September it'll be the same thing but iPhone and in October MR will be main page about which is fastest and the iPhone forums will be comparing ship dates. Ahh fall on the internet :cool:

Interesting. I asked the same question and got a few websites listed with relevant information about divorce rates.
I took a screenshot. I hope they fixed it by now
[doublepost=1530851988][/doublepost]
LMAO ....

maybe in years ... but have you forgotten other smartphones like:

Nokia N90, N92, N82, N72, E90/E92 Communicator series?
Yeah... those were interesting though not really practical. If you trace the original iPhone to the iPhone 10 we're still using slate touch screens. I'm ready for something new. I do liked curved Samsung phones as well.

Seems they(Samsung) does this every year....launch something prior to the apppe release.
Or just use the same month every year, maybe 12 months since the last one..
[doublepost=1530991173][/doublepost]
Exactly. This isn't really news, its expected... just like how its expected that iPhone's will continue keeping Samsung in a very distant second place as Apple sells tons and tons of phones.
Erm.. Samsung sold more phones than Apple last year.. bet that stings a bit...
[doublepost=1530991245][/doublepost]
so we will get to see what the new I phone will look like before Apple releases it
Why, are Apple copying Samsung's curved screens?
[doublepost=1530991502][/doublepost]
And pretty stale... they haven’t changed the back since the s5.
Such fud! The s5 was plastic, the s6 was a complete redesign from glass.. try harder...
[doublepost=1530991893][/doublepost]
Not really. Actually not at all.
Samsung is rumoured to be dropping iris scanning from the s10.

They are adding 3D facial recognition that’s similar to the iPhone X.
They have had face unlock since the s8 which works.just fine..

Erm.. Samsung sold more phones than Apple last year.. bet that stings a bit...

And got about 8-10 times less money out of it (probably got more profits from selling OLED screens to Apple),
I'm sure Apple will live with that extra money and forgo selling **** level phones with ten cent margins just fine.

Blah blah blah.

So fine it's actually not used for actual secure operations like payments... You should "TRY HARDER "(sic).

Interesting. I asked the same question and got a few websites listed with relevant information about divorce rates.

I found that the specific phrasing mattered for me.

I had to say “what’s the divorce rate for couples aged 18 to 43” for the website results.

If I said “what’s the divorce rate for couples from 18 to 43”, I get the total.

Funny.
