They can put any CPU, GPU, and improve specs. I do know for a fact that Samsung won't have iOS' clunky notification system. Therefore, I won't have the same experience on a Galaxy with the iPhone. What makes the iPhone today is the software. For good and the bad. Samsung won't offer iMessage like capabilities because they don't have a good alternative.
Their version of Animoji or whatever was really creepy "WHERRRE ARE YOU"
The phones are gorgeous though. The 8/8+ and X are just not very attractive imo, especially with The Notch. Hope Apple decides to try a different design before I upgrade from my 7+

Looks pretty good tbh. Reasonable price, great camera, and guaranteed security/os updates. Now that the operating systems have matured, I've started to like Android more than iOS. It doesn't aggressively close apps in the background, and I like how I can customise it and have proper notifications. Might pick this one up depending on what the next Pixel phone is like.

I have lost amazing relationships with super gorgeous girls.... but my real pain today is being such retard and being stuck with an iPhone X... is like all of the sudden being married to Kellyanne Conway.

Trust me I had a Galaxy S7 Edge and moved to an iPhone X, and they're night and day. I didn't use the edge screen at all. I use Face ID on the iPhone X because it works.
Samsung had "faceid" for a long time. Apple copied that.
To me, the iPhone X looks more modern and sleek.
Lol .. more boring than Apple’s March keynote. I’ve watched all keynotes and Apple’s one is much much better.
2D face recognition is very much different than Face ID.
Samsung used Plus in their product names since 2011 before Apple started doing it in 2014.

I owned Galaxies and iPhones over the years. Gimmicks aren't exclusive to Samsung though. I never used Apple's gimmicky animojis once when I had the X. FaceID isn't as reliable as Touch ID for me. I think Facial Recognition should be able to look at your face without the screen on and unlock. Not screen on, swipe, then unlock.
Using your face weather it be 2d 3d or 50d makes zero difference of who had it first.
Looking at you phone to unlock using your face was done first on a samsung phone.
Period.
Facial recognition is facial recognition!!
One is 2D the other is 3D. Trusted Faces isn't the same as Apple's offering.
For the first time in my history I liked a Samsung product video and found it quite convincing.
Face ID isn't secure either so it's no better than Android face unlock that came before. For single factor authentication iris > fingerprint > face but best is multi-factor authentication with combination of iris + fingerprint.
A lot of Galaxy S8 owners I'm seeing on social media are saying they are switching to iPhone after this snoozefest. Samsung has no new ideas and people seem to be sick of all the Sbloat.
