I don't understand your question. Show you what? And to reiterate my question, do you think that instead of using the best displays themselves, they decided to give them to Apple instead? It's certainly possible I guess, but I would imagine the color calibration that Apple did (natural vs. saturated) made a difference in the display rating. Either way, you seem awfully worked up about this so maybe it's best to move on. Ultimately, both you and I don't know what is accurate.

He just doesn’t have a clue how displays work. An actual panel is a piece of the puzzle, the circuitry that drives it is another. The panel comes from Samsung, the driver from Apple. Just like there are 3 factories churning out panels for TVs, but dozens of different TV brands of varying quality.

Not sure why Macrumors is covering Samsung product releases.

MacRumors reports rumors from competitors alike. It’s Not just about Apple, they also report surrounding tech related news from other manufacturers as well either to show the contrast and comparison to Apple in some senses.

Even MacRumors mission statement states they discuss the latest technologies and products for both consumers and professionals interested. It’s not just Apple.

I didn't say that at all, but yes Apple developed the OLED that Samsung manufactured for them last year. At the time, it was the best display in a mobile device, so yes it's reasonable to say Samsung took that and built on it. Their scale still remains very impressive.

Do you think Apple developed the Sony sensor inside iPhones? Or, do they use off-the-shelf Sony sensor and apply their own processing?

I think Animoji is dumb, but I’d rather use that than a cartoon version of myself. They’re kinda horrifying.

Have you ever been to an amusement park like Disneyland and seen vendors do drawings of people? They turn them into cartoonish characters instead of poop. Samsung even partnered with Disney so you can be popular Disney cartoon characters.

I think Apple uses a Sony part and then applies their own image/photo software.

Correct. I’m not questioning that Samsung made the display. I just find it naive to say Apple didn’t have anything to do with it.

This phone is intended for those looking for status symbol, but doesn't want an iPhone.

For actually good Android phones, Google has made it easy to select one. Just look at their Android Enterprise Recommended list of phones, and you don't have to worry about not getting updates, etc.

Of course, Samsung is not on the list, for obvious reason. Lying about updating their phones is one.
