Well of course, Apple Pay was followed by Samsung Pay, Apple Watch followed by Galaxy Watch, 3 different iPhone models introduced by Apple was followed by 3 Samsung Galaxy S models and the list goes on... what ever Apple does Samsung will try to copy.
Samsung has a smartwatch before Apple, Samsung had 3 different Galaxy S models before Apple had 3 iPhone models and the lost goes on. Whatever Apple copies Apple fans defend to their grave.

I can’t believe you guys get so excited about this. What is so revolutionary here? It looks...decent? But doesn’t run iOS. Meh. Honestly I like the look of my iPhone X better (with black silicone Apple case).

[shrug] Ask Android fans, they'll say the same thing about iPhones. "it has decent specs, but hard pass. At the end of the day, it's still an iPhone".

It's the usual "Apple and Samsung song and dance" :D Speaking of which....

You know Samsung released the S5+ before Apple released their first + model in the iPhone 6?

Is there anything Samsung can do that Apple wont shamefully copy?
Yeah, I remember when it was said that 4" was the right size for iPhones.

I'm talking about Apple and Samsung, not Google. Samsung had no intentions to bring out any form of payment, before Apple Pay happened, and then they just copied it, simple as that. Samsung credit card will follow just wait and see
Tldr: it's fine when Apple copies but not Samsung.

Note 10 with 256 GB of storage @ 949$
Unfortunately I doubt that Apple will be that generous with storage space on the iPhone XS successor.
Probably it will be 999$ with 128 GB of storage

When Apple unveils new products at product events, the takeaways often end up being related more to how Apple is setting the stage for the future. Certain announcements and features make much more sense when thinking about what Apple will likely unveil the following year.

Look at how Apple is slowly but methodically ramping up their ecosystem. iPhone. iPad. Apple Watch. Airpods. Apple TV. Macs. Tied together with the App Store, iCloud, Apple Music, news, Apple Card and soon, Apple Arcade and video streaming.

Think about Apple’s AR push and how this and Face ID ties in with their rumoured smart glasses.

For Samsung, it's the opposite. I am just not seeing a coherent vision when it comes to the future. Their wearables strategy appears to be a mess. Their software and services portfolio is practically nonexistent. At this point, Samsung can only double down on smartphones and rely on their hardware expertise, at a time when they are being sandwiched between Apple and cheaper Chinese alternatives.

There is just no cohesive experience to be had here. In some regards, Samsung peaked right before Apple unveiled larger iPhones, and the company has not been able to find its footing since.

This time will be no different.

Samsung made an advert dissing apple for removing the headphone jack on there phones and now they announce the new note phone and guess what they removed it, Samsung are so dumb haha
Get up to speed, those were 3 years ago, and well deserved ads, welcome to 2019!

You're right, everything Android fans try to point out is trivial. I'm sure it won't be long till Samsung has a Samsung Card.
Sounds like Apple invented credit cards doesn’t it?
Just LOL!

Not to mention a 10.5 inch tablet, a tablet with a stylus and a larger tablet above 12 inches. All done by Samsung first.

Oh come on man, don’t play dumb with me. Last year Samsung launched only 2 phones at their flagship event: Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus. Then months later Apple decided to change things up and add 1 more phone to their lineup called the XR(the inferior one). And what do you know Samsung followed the suit by releasing S10, S10+ and S10E. Lol, who are we kidding Samsung likes to follow Apple and copy as much as they can, nothing wrong with that of course, just stop the denial!

Google Wallet was on Samsung phones..

So Samsung had the tech through Google found a weakness in Apple Pay then bought a company added it's tech to the basics of Google Wallet and voila new product that they can market against Apple Pay.

Now an argument could and probably should be made that they wouldn't have spent the resources required to make that happen had Apple not not spent to resources to normalize mobile payments but is silly to say that Samsung Pay only exists because of Apple Pay when they had payment they could have renamed in the first place.

Do you even understand what I’m saying? Yes Google wallet was on Samsung phones, because it is part of android and had nothing to do with Samsung. Then when Apple decided to join the game with Apple Pay, Samsung again followed suit by releasing Samsung Pay. Is that too hard to understand?

But what about the watch? Didn’t Samsung release their smartwatch a whole year before the Apple Watch first launched?

I accuse Apple of bloatware al the time.

I honestly think the majority of Apple users are brainwashed. They totally overlook Apples ways yet slag Android and Windows off till the cows come home. Maybe a really old Samsung Galaxy S2 or something, when Android wasn't amazing I could understand but I've had all the Galaxy phones and from the S7 up its rock solid. An iPhone 3gs would run like **** nowadays bit again it's overlooked by the sheep.

Indeed, you are correct. My mistake. You see, I am man enough to admit when I have made a mistake, unlike Samsung who starts deleting their YouTube videos of making fun of Apple for not having a headphone jack.

Nope. That's wrong.

The iPhone 6 Plus was launched in September 2014. While the Galaxy S5 Plus was launched in October 2014 which was essentially the same phone as the regular Galaxy S5, with just an upgraded processor (SD-805 from SD-801).

Back then the plus was only a moniker, it didn’t actually have a larger display. When Apple launched a plus(meaning the bigger display) model, soon enough Samsung followed.

So are people here arguing that Samsung copied using the word "Plus" or copying larger screens?!

I think the thing that EVERYBODY is overlooking is that every tech company copies off eachother. In fact companies on a whole copy. Why do you think there are millions of takeaways, supermarkets, shoe shops, cafes, coffee shops, pubs, nightclubs, airports etc etc

Both Apple and Microsoft pinched the GUI idea from Xerox but that doesn't stop Apple slating Microsoft etc. In fact Apple once said "they doubled down on secrecy as they didn't want the Redmond photocopier starting up earlier than needed" or something along them lines. How 2 faced is that when they themselves have pinched many ideas from other companies. They are all as bad or good as eachother. The problem I have with Apple is the way they do business. Gimping products purposely for profit. Heavy handed with repair shops for wanting to repair the products that Apple don't want to. The whole keyboard and battery fiasco etc.

Apple are cruel bullies and I for one am glad that they are losing lots of business over it. I know quite a large company locally that has moved away from Apple products to pcs. And I'm talking 100 plus computers. That's a hell of a lot of Dosh.

My family has moved from Apple everything to windows/Android. My brother and family have. My other nephew only yesterday had a play with my S10+ and is selling his iPhone 7+ to get one. The "magic" that Apple like to paint has run dry.

The word “Plus, +” meaning as a bigger display, that’s what Samsung copied from Apple. And not only the name, but also trying to match Apple by releasing a normal size and a bigger size phone at the same time/event.

But once again I’m not blaming Samsung, it is what it is...

What a ludicrous argument. Going along those lines does that mean Apple copied Samsung in releasing those larger screens?

Yes, you could definitely say that. They are as bad as each other. But Samsung is way worse IMO. The Korean company likes to copy more blatantly...

Mark my words, the Apple Card will be followed by Samsung Card, just like with EarPods, Samsung comes up with Galaxy Buds. lol
