If it was a tad smaller it would be amazing. I like it. If I had an Android phone I'd contemplate getting it. The aesthetics is far better than the Apple Watch.

Looks promising, unless you have small wrists. Then straight outta luck.
Exactly what I thought, they look good but 46mm is too big.

On the other hand, it's relatively petite when compared to the new 51mm Garmin Fenix Chronos.

Great! but to be honest I kinda expected something else, so Samsung decided to focus more on fashion rather than tech wich I think that's a bad idea, speaking of fashion...Samsung Galaxy S7 (tech product) wipes the floor with any fashion gadget out there, and the reason why is because it look so beautiful, it has an unique design and no one had ever seen something like this before! so I'm guessing Samsung doesn't know why S7 Edge had sold so much
Things I would've want it: unique beautiful design with curved display, Iris scanner, 8GB storage, freaking camera! and along side the features it already has ! It would've been the perfect smartwatch!

Lol! the Apple Watch users are freaking out!

While the Classic looks nice, I would never buy one. I still love my Apple Watch, and this is after using Android Wear and 2 different Pebbles (with Android phones) over the last year. The Apple Watch has the ecosystem, the app support, the developer support, reliability, and refinement that make me never want to stop using it and pushes it ahead of all other watches on the market. While other companies may introduce flashy features like LTE (which I don't think watches need) or phone-independency (which I also don't think they need), they still can't match the overall package of the Apple Watch in my opinion.

I currently have the Apple Watch, but it doesn't work with my new Note 7. I pre-ordered the Garmin Chronos and might take a look at the frontier version of the Gear S3. I wish it was slightly smaller than 46mm, but man I think the design is sexy.

My two biggest gripes with the Apple Watch are terrible battery (esp after a workout) and the square design. I much prefer circular watches.

The LTE only triggers when it is disconnected from your phone. I am trying the S2 Classic with an iPhone 6S Plus and the Samsung iOS beta app. I hate to say it, but it blows Apple's watch out of the water - and I had that for 6 months, before I sold it and kept the S2. This is one instance where Samsung beats Apple in interface design.
I have a question for you: how is the app support for the watch while using iOS? Can you get nearly as many apps as you can using watchOS with iOS?

And no, this isn't a troll question, I'm just curious to know :)

Pack all that tech in an Apple Watch-design and run iOS on it and I'll buy it in an instant.

GPS, always on display, 4 day (!!) battery life and water resistance? "This changes everything" - seriously.
I'm really interested in the September 7th event and I wouldn't be surprised if we won't see an Apple Watch 2 announced since they'll have to go back to the drawing board.

And I'll happily be proven wrong.

Oh my gosh...unless that thing has a propeller that pops out of the face, that is just impractical.

Nice looking.... but I'll hold out for Apple's version. I still have not seen the killer feature... except maybe telling time. :)

Always interesting how Samsung always makes product announcements just before an Apple event. I'm sure a strategy to stir the pot some.

Screen always on, LTE, AND 4 days battery ??? Hard to believe... But if true, it certainly blows the Apple Watch out of the water. Not sure about Tizen OS though ...

Aesthetically , it looks ok, not ugly, but not that great either..
