Without getting into the Apple vs Samsung or Apple vs Google discussion the Galaxy Buds objectively are the far better headphone, they connect to my S10 the moment I open the case and the sound quality is in another league compared to the AirPods. Its a win by knockout really.

At any rate, doesn’t it seem disingenuous to compare a just-released product (the galaxy buds) to a product that is more than two years old (AirPod) and which is on the cusp of being refreshed?

Or is this the only way a competitor’s product can be shown to be winning in some way? The fact that the galaxy buds isn’t the clear winner in virtually every category despite having a 2-year development lead seems laughable.

Excuses excuses. I will be shocked if you ever concede a product made outside of Apple is superior. I really hope you can suprise me one day :)

The sound may be better, I don't know, but not objectively better because of that one thing. I don't like in ear designs such as those buds and to me the airpods are objectively better better because of that and the music stops when the airpod is removed from the ear. We can argue or discuss usb-c and wireless charging till the cows come home. Considering I charge my airpods, based on my usage, once a week, wireless charging is not a factor. But some may award points to it. After one tallies up the points for their requirements, they come up with a subjective best.

I know you like to use any loophole you can find to justify your narrative, however your point is a very valid one. Still does not change the fact the galaxy buds are scoring higher in all reviews.

Don’t hold you breath.
Come on suprise me :D

Objective vs subjective is what is being discussed here. Not loopholes.

No no, its your way of not having to admit someone has made a better product then Apple. Heck Samsung could release the perfect product and you would still say that the plastic used is not shiny enough so you prefer the apple version lol. You are not fooling anyone. :)

There still is no best as the aspects of decision making are not one dimensional. And actually I do think Samsung makes good tvs. Every tv in my house is a Samsung model. But carry on, defending the buds.

Well Apple Does not make TV's, if they did you would no longer say Samsung made good TV's. Even if the Samsung TV was better in every measurable way you would come up with some subjective comment to fit your Pro Apple narrative. Tell me I'm wrong :D

This is a perfect example of a "straw-man argument".o_O

It is, but its still relevant to the point i'm trying to make. I will end things here though as we both know i'm not changing your mind anytime soon :D
There is no mind-changing to be had. You are making your own value judgement and calling it a "fact", while simultaneously dismissing another's opinion and calling it fanboism or whatever synonym you want to choose. Go forth and prosper, my man! Have a great night.

Post every review proving they score higher. If I find one review saying otherwise, you are wrong.

Oh look, already found one.

Samsung's Galaxy Buds aren't as good as AirPods...

https://mashable.com/review/samsung-galaxy-buds-review/#VDR9fmXO7aqX

And remember, AirPods have been out since the iPhone 7 (2.5+ years) and will likely be refreshed shortly. It’s amazing how Apple can lead for years and still do on something like FaceID.

Nice subjective review with zero detail on steps taken to conclude sound quality superiority.

I just read that review and the reviewer must be tone deaf. Obviously a bias review in favour of the airpods. Here is a review by someone who actually understands audio much better

And another

And one more

I could keep posting links but you get the idea.

Ok, the first link says they are good competition to AirPods but nowhere says they are definitively better.

Here is yet another review that calls the Buds great for Samsung owners, but everyone else should look elsewhere. They also point out the connection is finicky. AirPods still favorable even at over 2 years old.

https://www.theverge.com/2019/3/8/1...es-truly-wireless-review-price-specs-features

Again, my original point was to prove you wrong, which I did, that all reviews were positive and ranked Buds ahead of AirPods. It’s not true, and frankly a flat out lie.

Many other reviews have said the AirPods are better for call quality and still overall easier to use.

I could keep going, but you get the idea.

There are also people have the opposite problem - AirPods sitting too loose in one or both ears.

If people complain about the AirPods not fitting them properly, then it's the person's fault for not having the proper anatomy to use Apple products.

But if someone buys a different product from Jabra or Samsung, then he will be ridiculed for not buying the AirPods.
Well for now I enjoy my Bose overear noise cancelling but I did try the EarPods bundled with the phone. Let’s see if apple does any overear model of the AirPods in the future.

I see ifixit have completed their breakdown of Galaxy Buds and found that they are surprisingly repairable.
They get a rating if 6 out of 10. This is in comparison to their rating of Airpods which was 0 out of 10.
Since the battery is available to order online, these do not appear to be disposable tech for anyone with reasonable mechanical skills or local tech repair shops :)
