I said over the recent years. Their design and product decision were definately inspired by Apple. Even their website when they launched a competitor to the iPod (not overly successful) looked like a straight rip off from Apple - almost comical.

At other aspects, like the terribly inefficient Touchwiz Software, which at some stage was so bad that Samsung felt they had to cheat on benchmark tests, they were not so successfully inspired. Was that the Note 2 or 3 which had phenomenal benchmarks but then Ars Technica or Anantech found out during reviews that it would take up to 30 seconds to open the Gallery App? :p

Anyway, apart from Gear VR support the S7 seems more like a 'corrected' S6 - an evolution. The decision to drop the SD card support wasn't received too well among the Samsonauts it seemed.

Ah, who cares. Some should buy, whatever they like. I had Samsung (mediocre to sucked), a LG (good), Sony Xperia (very good software wise) and now back to iPhone (good). If I had to go Android, I had no problems with it, but would defiantly chose not a Samsung phone again (like many of my colleagues as well for the matter :D).
Are you really taking about the Note 2? Relevant much ?

Please read the article. Apple has been stealing other companies ideas for years Steve Jobs was the best at using other people's ideas. Apple doesn't do things first. They wait for the great copy.
