Very satisfied, for me I can still use it one handed comfortably without having to awkwardly shift my grip around and risk dropping it. The larger screen resolution seems to allow apps more "breathing room" for the UI, and when going back to apps on a smaller device they just feel cramped now. (Also on the 6+ I saw everything felt a bit too sparse UI wise. Too much extra unused space - just look at the dialer for example.) Also the curved glass meeting the edge of the metal just feels great in your hand. And the black levels on the display are incredible.

I just wish it could have had:

- More battery life
- Wireless charging
- Waterproofing
- Better impact resistance

But that is what the 6s and 7 will be for

5S to 6 and hugely satisfied.

4.7" is perfect sweetspot in screen size. I held the 6+ and knew it was way too big.

Loving the improved battery life over the 5S.

I do kinda miss the industrial design/feel of the 5S.

I'd wanted the 6 plus (and somewhat still do, just because I sold my iPad mini in anticipation of getting the plus) but went with the 6. It serves every purpose I have, love the extra screen size and it looks and feels better than any other iPhone I've had. No complaints here.

I haven't seen the plus yet, would people be able to use it with one hand??

Probably my least favorite of the three I've owned. Loved the 4, liked the 5 a lot. This iteration feels cheaper.

100% satisfied with the 6. I bought the phabulous 6 Plus fablet based on videos and cutouts but once I held it in hand for a couple days, I knew it was going back for the 6. When Apple cuts down the bezels on the brick then I may give it a chance, although I think I prefer a phone to Apple's version of a fablet.

I would not say dissatisfied, but a little disappointed. My iPhone 6 began running very warm with no Background Apps on, low brightness and playing music, one safari tab and email open. Not to mention my shutting so many other things off including location etc.. Also wifi hiccup (which seems to be a reoccurring iOS issue.)

I am not angry at Apple, I will get my money back. And the iOS will eventually get fixed. Early adopter issues. It was a very nice phone, but I'll make do with a no contract flip phone and another iDevice for entertainment.

It was all worth it, to cut contract dealings with carriers though: I am super grateful I am no longer with AT&T. They were the real problem.

Not really digging the build quality. Kind of flimsy. Back feels like cheap plastic. If I tap the back of the phone I hear a rattle- as if something inside is loose. Odd.
It's also a bit tough to get a good grip on this thing.
The phone has a tendency to want to slide out of your hand.
Also, The home button sounds louder when I press it compared to my old 4.

Otherwise, I love the size and it's much faster than the 4.
But the 4 was built solid. I liked the heft.
The 6 really feels like a fragile toy.

I have the 6 plus, and I am satisfied with the PHONE, so I voted satisfied.

That being said, I am dissatisfied with iOS 8. It's buggy as hell, locks up, apps crash, the one-handed mode is stupid (should have reduced the whole screen down and to the right, instead of scrolling the whole screen down and losing the keyboard).

I am sure most of this will be fixed in the first update. Generally speaking, the phone is great!

Ditto...all points. iOS feels like a beta. Apple is getting antsy with their releases, hardware & software wise. I hope there will be an 8.0.1 soon, or that they will skip and release 8.0.2 and get things right in the first place.

IMO, iOS is geared toward a smaller screen and not to 4.7/5.5" ones, always has been. I love the iPhone 6...but if they don't get iOS8 tweaked...I'm going to buy another 5s.

Dissatisfied. The screen is awesome. The build quality is amazing. But, after using for days, I pick up my 5 and go "whoa this is awesome". The 6 (let alone Plus) is entirely too big. I love the size of the screen, but Apple's continued crap bezels ruin it. I know they are better.. but they make the phone too big. I also am not a fan of the curved edges of the glass. Makes the phone look bloated and strange.

It just stinks because I would buy a 5s, but they don't sell it in 64GB, which is what I need. I like my music on my device. So, I'll have to stick with 5 for a while and hope some sort of iPhone Mini comes out, or something...

I'm in the same boat. The phone's architecture is incredible, beautiful build quality. Truly feels like a premium device. The screen's colors are vibrant. But everytime I went to head out I wanted to grab my 5 instead. Also everytime I have to change grips, I feel like I'm going to drop the phone. My hands are by no means small, actually larger than the average person's. Not being able to naturally reach the "x" to close out some web pages or photos in Facebook is a deal breaker for me. Another thing is portability is more important to me than a larger screen so I will be exchanging my 6 for a 5s by the end of this week. If you want a 64 gig 5s, I believe some stores still have some in stock. Call around. I know some near mine do.

So on the first page of responses to this thread, there were a lot of people who liked the phone, but on page 2, not so much. Let's keep this thread going and get a good mix

People who're dissatisfied and are going back to 5S.

Can you post a pic of your 6 with username written beside it? ;)

Love my 6!!!!! Have owned every iPhone. This is my 2nd favorite only because I very much more prefer the square design rather than the rounded edges of the 3GS. 5/5S my favorite before 6. I'm very much hoping Apple goes back to the square design for iPhone 6S.

iOS 8 is cool as hell… A major upgrade… But buggy as hell… So I hope they fix that soon.

Though I've been up ardent supporter of the 4 inch design .. because that fits my hand the best… This larger screen is just a total plus.

100% satisfied coming from android. Who ive been with for years but have just been waiting for a bigger iphone to come along. I went with the 6 64gb and its perfect for one handed use for me walking along.

Id go as far to say the perfect phone in my eyes. Love it! battery could be better but theres ways round that. Love the ios fluidity and design. As for people that moan about the look and say dated well I find android looks terribly dated. The over the top animations and tacky skins and pointless widgets taking up a whole screen not for me.:D:apple:

Um, you don't have to use tacky skins or ANY widgets with Android, and the iOS screen is *chocked full* of app icons ;-)

my .02$ I have the 4.7. coming from a 5s

pro's
Camera great
Battery great
screen color A+, screen coating A+, Brightness A++

Cons:
camera lens pokes out
imho the foot print is to big, screen size is ok but the phone as a whole feel to big for a 4.7 inch
i think it's missing the apple quality design/feel. the 4-5 felt great, this not so much.

I'm still on the line as to go back to the 5s as my personal use is just txt and calls. buy all con's aside the camera quality is really the only reason i on the fence as to go back.

Asked girlfriend about her 6.

Satisfied:
Big screen
Big speed bump from 4S

Dissatisfied
Fingerprint not consistent/doesn't register print etc Feels like an alpha function :(
Not 100% happy with the home button in general

Tell her to rescan her fingers. It shouldn't be that inconsistent. For me it works about 95% of the time on the first try and 100% on the second try.

Satisfied, upgraded from a 4s, not wowed it is just an iPhone but nice not having a tiny screen any more. I think Apple Pay will be the killer app. If that takes off and gets wide spread adoption then I will be more than satisfied.

Satisfied or Dissatisfied with the 6?

Loving my 6. Perfect size for me, and the 128G capacity means I can have my entire music collection with me. Camera is great, and the fingerprint sensor is awesome. Coming from an iPhone 5, it is a great update.

From G3 to i6 today. Not bad. Smaller. Miss so many little Android features.

With the hardware, I'm incredibly satisfied.
With the software, ugh... I'm not so satisfied.
There are a LOT of very frustrating bugs with iOS 8 and I expected AutoLayout to make the applications ready for the larger screens without needing any iPhone 6 optimisation updates. I can understand the iPhone 6 Plus needing updates, but even that would benefit from AutoLayout - it'd just have some blurrier icons than others.
