Was really worried that I'd buy the 6 and then wish I had ordered the 6+

Was able to hit up the Apple store and hold a 6+, no regrets on the 6.
The 6+ is too big for my needs. (I carry my phone in my pocket)

Love the 6, no quality issues. However I have to agree with those that say it's slippery. I don't like cases and I think I'm already on borrowed time before it falls on the ground. So being extra careful for now. No issues with cheap feeling buttons or anything else.

I would have liked the image stabilization on the camera, but oh well.

I haven't seen the plus yet, would people be able to use it with one hand??

Possibly. And it's a stretch (literally). Put it this way, I'm 6'3" and have large hands (my golf golf is a mens XL if that tells you anything) and while it fits nicely in my hand, the one-handed operation would be hard to do. I was messing around with it at Best Buy and found I had to rely on the double tapping the home button to get to those top two rows of apps. Granted this is my personal experience and while the extra real estate on the screen is nice, I'd say that it'll either take a lot of practice to use it with one hand, or someone with some pretty large hands - otherwise I'd say use two hands to really operate it.

Again, just my .02.

I'm waiting on a 6 plus that is still on backorder, while I do so my non techy husband who got upgraded to a 6 is letting me play with it. I'm debating canceling the 6 plus now and switching to the 6. I find it the perfect size. I've had every iPhone up to now and have also used the Note 3. I find the note 3 cumbersome to carry around but it is wider than the 6 plus I have heard. I am hoping the thinner width of the plus will help me love it. Going to wait and see but I really really love the 6! When I pick up my 5s it looks so small after using the 6. The 6 fits my hands perfectly, and is very easy to tote around.

Love the 6. I may be the minority, but I do miss the smaller screen of the 5. Took a while to get used to the bigger screen. But digging it!

iOS8 is a little buggy, but I'm sure they'll fix that.

I miss the smaller size of the 5 but do like the larger screen so will get used to that. So far liking it a lot, from the 5 there are some nice changes.

I have a love / hate relationship with the iPhone 6. I appreciate the larger display and I think the LCD is actually fantastic considering it is on the low end of resolution for many phones. They did an excellent job of fine tuning the color / contrast that makes it appear much higher in resolution.

I am disappointed in two things - thickness and battery life. In Apples obsession with thin over everything else, the back camera lens sticks out. I cannot understand why not make the device ever so slightly thicker with a higher capacity battery. NO ONE would have ever complained. I do believe the design of the iPhone 4/4s and 5/5s was more pleasing, although this one isn't bad. I have a case on mine, but unfortunately cases detract from the design. I did not have a case on my 5s, but I'm not going to risk it with the 6 or my wife's 6 plus.

Battery life has been problematic for me. I took it off the charger this morning and drove to work. Made a couple of stops (starbucks, etc.). It took me an hour to get to work. I purposefully did not touch my phone. All apps were manually closed so nothing in the background. When I got to work, my battery had dropped to 91%. My iPhone 5s was much better. Actually I think it may have to to with iOS 8. With my 5s on iOS 8 beta 3, my battery life was outstanding. When I updated it to GM, i lost about 10% in battery performance. Clearly iOS 8 GM went backwards in that respect. Hopefully and update will come out soon to address that and WiFi issues.

UPDATE:

My battery issue was resolved by doing a hard reset and not restoring from backup. Now I am getting acceptable battery life. I still stand by my assertion that the device was made unnecessarily thin reducing battery capacity. There is a law of diminishing returns. What next, the camera and the processor poking out of the back of the device?

People who're dissatisfied and are going back to 5S.

Can you post a pic of your 6 with username written beside it? ;)

I think I attached that properly. Sorry I had to verify myself to you, buddy.

My wife keeps complaining about the power button being on the side. I told her that her brain and herself will soon get over it. :)

Very happy with mine. I've owned many of the recent android flagship devices and overall prefer the 6. Nice size, solid button feedback, Touch ID works perfect, excellent camera and solid battery life for my usage.

Very happy with mine. The only change I would make to the phone is to make it less slippery. I'll do that myself by adding a case. :)

Really happy but I'm still not 100% used to the size of the 6.
Coming from a 5, I find the 6 to be a little big.

Asked girlfriend about her 6.

Satisfied:
Big screen
Big speed bump from 4S

Dissatisfied
Fingerprint not consistent/doesn't register print etc Feels like an alpha function :(
Not 100% happy with the home button in general

Try redoing the finger prints. Use different parts of the main pad even in the first part of the scan. Let it build up a complete picture. I don't ever get false readings - always 100% accurate.
Also I believe you have to make contact with the metal rim of the sensor when using touchid in real world use.

Yeah I think TouchID is fantastic on the six. Better than the 5S. And there's something much much more satisfyingly clicky about my home button.

I record my thumbs and index fingers. The fifth spot for fingerprint I record a combination of all four. It never fails except when my fingers are wet.

I'm adjusting to the size of the six more and more every day and I absolutely have zero regrets about the upgrade now. While there are a few things lost in the larger size, the beautiful screen makes up for in droves.

Don't forget that you always have to do a battery level indicator conditioning run after you get a new phone. Let your phone run all the way down until it turns off from no battery power left. Then recharge it fully without touching it all the way to 100% overnight. The next day you'll see a drastic improvement in your battery life. Then do the same process at least once a month.

Though new lithium ion batteries don't need a conditioning charge cycle like old ones did. The battery level indicator firmware "does" need a conditioning cycle at least once a month.

Satisfied, but I have to say that the iPhone is slippery and needs a case.
Battery life is improved New bells and whistles are plentiful and design is sleek Except for those bezels!

I'll leave this open-ended, but I can't really find a non-biased thread about this phone. If you are happy- with what aspects? If dissatisfied, what are your gripes?

Love it in every single way, 4.7 inch model is the perfect size for me, ONE thing only is that I cant wait for apps to be updated and be recompiled for iOS 8 and the new A8 and also start using Extensions/Healthkit, Apple Pay and all these new API's making these apps run much deeper and more flexible and greater

Have you followed battery tips and Settings tweaks to improve battery life? Im getting awesome battery life on my 6

Me too. You have to let the battery run to zero a couple times a week then full charge for the meter to stay calibrated and giving you accurate info.
