Do you have any pics of the X case beside a 7/8 and/or 7+/8+ please for comparison? Also beside you're current phone?
What X case did you go for? Do they guarantee it will fit as well now?
My case also came with a screen protector so I was able to get a gauge for screen real estate. I also stuck my old 6 inside the case to compare since that's what it seems most people are comparing the screen size to.

The iPhone X is not even out and you're already satisfied with it? That's beyond fanatism even for me.
I've returned my 8 so the only phone I have now is my 7 plus and my iPhone 6. I can get ahold of a 7 later today and can take pictures of the phones beside my case but for some reason, I'm having a hard time uploading them. I keep getting an error saying the file is too large. Any suggestions on how to make the file size smaller? I use my iPhone to take the pictures with.

If you'd read my post you'd know the main issue I had with wanting to order the X was the size. That issue is no longer an issue so yes I am satisfied with the product Apple has released.
Yes please, also do your 7+ and X case now. I currently have a 7+ so interested to see the comparison

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I will say this once again here, like I do everywhere else:
While the X is only slightly wider and slightly taller, it will be different. It's not just a difference in mm, cm, inches, etc. For the height, that may be true, just slightly taller, slightly further you have to move your finger to get to the top. Width will be a bigger issue though. The reason why is because your hand's dimension's are finite. Your hand/fingers can only stretch so much, and the more stretching you have to do, the more uncomfortable it is. So while it may only be 3-4% wider if it's already at the limit your thumb can reach for one handed use, then it may even seem 15-20% less comfortable. I'm not saying those numbers are right, but that's the idea behind it.
I personally still find the 7/8 to be a bit too wide for comfortable/proper one handed use and that bothers me when coming from the 5S/SE form factor, even though I have big hands. Height is not an issue, it's the width.

For OP: Also got a case for the X. I opted for a very lightweight case with very thin leather on the back. I want to minimize the weight of the phone. I usually get the Apple leather case. I'll see how this case does first. Also, having a case will absolutely force me into ordering the X! LOL

Maybe upload photos of you holding it.
Best I could do is print the actual dimensions onto photo paper to get a feel of the size, which I'm also very happy with...

Here's the thing though, anyone can just move their hand and show that their thumb reaches the top corner. Duh. I could do that with a 30 inch long phone too. Just move my hand to the very top, vuala, my thumb reaches the top corner.
You can clearly tell even in these photos, that the guy has to move the position of where his hand is. That means he has to dramatically change how he is using the phone, just to reach the top corner. In one handed salutations, this basically wouldn't work.

It's the same deal with my 6s. I've always had to manouvere the device down my palm to reach the top right corner, as depicted there.
So in my personal one handed situation, it does work.
& no you couldn't do that with a 30 inch phone as the thing would fall out with the weight imbalance.
But thanks for the patronising "duh". It's a trend to put others down on here without discussing things maturely eh....

Yeah, the iPhone 5S design is the only one that truly supports one handed use. The iPhone X will be even worse than the 7 though.
I got the casemate tough clear case because it came with a free glass screen protector. I've been trying to upload photos but I keep getting an error message saying the file is too large. I'm not sure how to scale it down, any help?

I think the X will be the perfect size. The 6/7/8 were all a little too small but the plus is just entirely too big and unnatural to hold. Having a slightly larger 6/7/8 will be the perfect scenario for me 🙂

I agree regarding the size. I never had an issue handling my Plus, but it is just a bit too big in some situations. Unnecessarily do to the huge chins. I think the X will be a really nice size for the next year. I could see myself going to an X Plus or whatever it's called though if they slim down the overall size.

I've been recommending that for a couple of weeks now. It will give you the best example of what to expect from the iPhone X; the screens are the same size and the aspect ratio is similar.

I received my X case yesterday. I'm excited to leave the large form factor of the Plus behind. Yes I'm okay with losing a little bit of width.
Take a pic and show us the comparison? I hope the exact same as you. What case did you go for?

I got mine yesterday too. I went with this one from Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074WYMZ81/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It appears to be a pretty bulky case. I do like how it has the extra protection for the front of the phone too. I'm a big fan of cases with built in kick stands, especially ones that will do portrait and landscape viewing. If I remember, I'll take a pick comparing it to my wife's iP7.

The X case is more bulky than my wife’s 7 case so it’s not a good apples to apples (ha!) comparison. I took a pic with her phone of the case with my 7+, which has a slim case.

This case. Gravel black. Used the same one for the 7. Adds a nice grip and minimal bulk. Too lazy to take a pic, sorry.
