Nope, it's been there a while, but I do think some of The Wiggles catalog was added pretty recently. Of course, you know you can get Wiggle and Laurie Berkner and other such great kids' stuff on Emusic.com - cheaper than iTMS and unprotected MP3 format?

Wiggles video content would be cool, but I'd need a way to burn them to DVD or something - I'm not letting my four year old sit around holding a video iPod!

"Wiggles," "Dora," "Blues Clues," etc., would be great for car rides, and I could see people downloading ginormous catalogs of that stuff.

The problem with paying 11.99 for Best Of's is the fact the actual Best Of's include other content!!!! I could not stand having paid 11.99 only to find out that I'm missing all of the other content not to mention better quality you get with the actually DVD for ~1-2 $ more.

Don't get me wrong I love the fact that they are adding things especially good shows like SNL, I'm so thankful its not just crap from the Disney Channel, "Soapopera" or any other junk that is on TV.

TV shows may need a new organizational scheme.

I'm not sure how much sense it makes to continue classifying TV shows by network, particularly when older catalog shows start coming into the fold. I know "Dallas" was on CBS and "Brady Bunch" was (I think) on ABC, but will anyone look for the shows that way?

Point being: Networks are not the commodity here; the shows are. Arranging the shows by network may be find now, but some kind of genre system with easy alphabetical searching makes a lot more sense long term. Plus, if it's all available through iTunes, why should Apple lend credibility to the network model anyway?

When I bought the "Best of Gilda Radner" earlier this morning, it was only $1.99. I suspected the price was a mistake. Can't wait to see what I'm actually billed.

Well they should bill you 1.99 because you may not have bought it had you known that they were 11.99. BTW when did you order these and what time zone are you in(After typing this post it will probably say exactly where in your location field).

I guarantee they are separated in that manor because that is how Apple deals with receiving and soliciting for more content. ABC and CBS I would imagine feel(albeit falsely) that there "Brand Names" carry a level of character in a different manner then the other so they feel labeling by name will draw in more customers.

This is dropping the ball. I'm not going to pay $11.99 for SNL content I can buy at target, best buy or walmart for less than $9 on dvd.

I was all for the Music Store because I could get CDs less from it than at a physical store.

I usually click on TV Shows on the main page and the click the browse button at the top right of the iTunes UI.

Today's New Releases list still hasn't rolled.

Looks like we're going to get some music content in addition to whatever is coming on the video side. Crossing my fingers for The Beatles, Radiohead, the rest of the Dave Matthews Band catalog, and some DMB live performances.

There are no major CDs or DVDs scheduled for release on those platforms today.

Yeah, I got a few of them for $1.99 (that's what I was actually billed). I figured it was a mistake, too, and so I acted quickly. Glad I did! For $11.99, I'd just get the DVD.

Yeah, right. That would be great, but I'm doubtful.

Vingles have been available for a while, I think. I recall my brother buying a single with a bonus video of "Pink Bullets" by The Shins for $2.49. This was at least six to nine months ago.

The New iPods are Here!

New promo on main page of iTMS indicates that the new iPods are here. Clicking the link says the store is currently unavailable however. Promo is right underneath the free song of the week (which is currently still $0.99!).

Anyone want to venture a guess that there will be iPod updates today?

I liked it better when people were just wondering about the vingle trademark! What an awful word :D Makes Mighty Mouse sound cool...
