My EVO back doesnt scratch.
I absolutely LOVE the EVO fanboys. Love'em. You guys enjoy your brick with a Windows-style OS.
I can't be the only person to not put my electronics in places where they'll be damaged.
3 year old iPod 5.5G - no scratches
3 year old black PSP - no scratches
4 year old DS Lite - no scratches
4 year old Motorola Razr - no scratches
6 year old PowerBook - no scratches
7 year old iPod - no scratches
S'not hard folks![]()

OMG stuff scratches!?!?!? Oh my! I'd of NEVER thought that things could get scratches!!!!
This is almost as dumb as the people who bitch about stuff "easily getting fingerprints".
Quit playing site cop and be more positive. You will be a much happier person.
You have that right. This is no surprise. They promoted how flexible the screen is and not scratch proof. Duh!
Bitches gonna bitch!
LOL. anyone who buys a case for a phone is just as clueless as those who buy bras for cars: "oooooh, i need to cover my beautiful property so it doesn't get ugly scratches. I know! I'll put an ugly case/cover on it! That way it'll always look new!"
Of course, no one knows it looks new, BECAUSE YOU COVERED IT WITH A BUTT UGLY CASE!
I have never had a cover of any kind on my 1st gen iPhone (which I bought at launch), and it probably has a couple of minor scratches on the back (and NONE on the glass) so what?
And don't say you want to protect it from getting broken. I use my phone daily, carry it in my jeans pocket, and have dropped it a couple of times. It really is durable and doesn't warrant such extremes.
But go ahead, cover that awesome industrial design that Apple worked so hard on, bulk up the world's thinnest smartphone, add distortion to the world's highest resolution cellphone display, and get all that added dust/lint that covers collect! At least you won't get tiny immaterial scratches on your phone!
I am sure that phone has seen more abuse in five days than mine will see in it's life time.
I have a Rolex with a synthetic sapphire crystal which costs as much as the no-contract iPhone, and I've scratched it or nicked its corner.
Rolex makes watches that cheap? Or did you really get your rollie in times square?![]()
Great analogy.LOL. anyone who buys a case for a phone is just as clueless as those who buy bras for cars: "oooooh, i need to cover my beautiful property so it doesn't get ugly scratches. I know! I'll put an ugly case/cover on it! That way it'll always look new!"

I've seen daily-used household furniture kept under wraps in a similar way - nothing like defeating its overall purpose and functionality, while masking it's uniquely designed features. But go ahead, cover that awesome industrial design that Apple worked so hard on, bulk up the world's thinnest smartphone, add distortion to the world's highest resolution cellphone display, and get all that added dust/lint that covers collect! At least you won't get tiny immaterial scratches on your phone!
The invisible shield might not be such a bad idea for the back. I would imagine it can be applied really easy because the back is completely flat.
Surprise: glass scratches...
I think a much bigger surprise is that the iPhone 4 isn't clocked at 1GHz but at only at around 866 MHz according to first benchmarks that show that the iPad has a faster A4 CPU (1GHz).
You guys dont get the point, Steve claimed that it was some superman glass

I absolutely love Apple fanbois who declare whatever new dimensions for rectangle 'perfect' even tho they declared the older bigger one's perfect, and everyone else's products as 'bricks'.
They are all bricks!
Have you actually used an android phone?
No he didn't. They never claimed it was scratch or break proof. Only that it was stronger than plastic and previously used glass.
