Yes, unfortunately my old 14 Pro Max is brighter and the whites are more cool temperature.

My 3 candidates. I kept the one on the right. Left one was decent but shifted red too much. Middle one was piss yellow even with True Tone off. The one on the right shifts blue/green which I prefer to shifting red.

I would have chosen the same. The middle one is probably LG.

Not all LGs are bad. I had a smaller storage 16PM before my current one. It was perfectly white, uniform greys and no color shifts. I then found one with higher storage and G9N display. So I switched but I've had a LG screen that was perfect. There are definitely green tint issues with it but really nice LG display do exist.

Fact: LG panels are definitely superior since the last two generations when it comes about their color temperature calibration and overall uniformity.

Didn’t check the other two tbh, the left one had a bad red shift. And the middle one was not uniform whatsoever brightness wise but I’d have say your probably right

Got a Sky Blue Air 512GB delivered and it has a pristine perfect display with uniform tint and no green tint on angles, I thought those didn't exist on the Air line. So happy that I finally found a keeper! not sure how to check the manufacturer but it must be Samsung or whichever the good one is.

Spoke too soon! lol, it's def not a perfect display as I thought, there's slight vertical color shift when tilting downwards, but not as noticeable as my past Air. Regardless, it's good enough given all the Airs seem to have it.
