I still don't understand those that are complaining about the PS Crytal Clear protectors? I have zero fingerprint issues on mine o_O

Obviously. What someone may consider acceptable is what another person considers an issue. It is purely subjective.

Not really, if you're too lazy to wipe it once with a micro fiber cloth then I don't know what to tell ya. Then if you get the other screen protectors you'll be complaining that it degrades the Retina display - FAIL.

it only takes like 1 second for a simple shirt wipe every once in a while

or u can powder up your finger to make it less oily :p

I am stating facts. I, myself, wipe the screen often. I have used a PS shield but now use the bare screen. The PS accumulates fingerprints much quicker than the bare screen with coating.

I use PowerSupport Matte on the front and InvisibleShield on the back. I used to have InvisibleShield on both sides but have been loving the PS Matte on the front ever since getting it. Having the PS back shield should be just fine as well. I just happened to just keep the rear InvisibleShield on from my previous purchase. Worst case, you could always replace the entire back plate easily.

Definitely get a screen protector for your iPhone. iPhones usually hold great resale value and the less scratches you have, the better :)

I don't see how a screen protector could get any better than the Moshi iVisor AG. The only drawback is it's anti-glare only.

- Super smooth surface
- 100% bubble free install EVERY TIME
- 100% reusable (it can be washed w/ soap and water)
- Comes in black or white for screen boarder (looks great)
- Very scratch resistant

I love the iVisor. It's the most expensive screen protector I have found at $24.99 but it is very durable and totally reusable. What I really like is the screen boarders are either black or white which matches the iPhone color perfectly. This looks better imo than other rigid style screen protectors that are clear as it blends better making it hard to tell there is a cover installed. The cover goes on with zero bubbles every time as well. The only drawback for some people will be it is anti-glare only.

HA! Funny, that's my setup. I have the PS Crystal Clear protector in the front and InvisibleShield in the back. I like how theInvisibleShield has a nice feel to it for that extra grip in the back, yet the front is silky smooth with superior clarity.

Why ruin what Apple has created because users are so paranoid, careless or OCD?

Apples oleophobic coating provides excellent tactile feedback. And terrific clarity and brightness. Why cover it with a protector that obscures this gorgeous display?

One can rationalize the protector is crystal clear, yet the fact is it affects what one sees when adding an extra layer which ads two more surfaces to look through.

I use mine sans a screen protector, as I have every other iPhone I've owned and not one has been scratched. All it takes is a little care.

Why do people buy $80 cases built like tanks? I for opt for a screen protector so I don't have to worry about scratching the hell out of my screen sliding it in and out of my jeans as well as wiping it off on any available article of clothing. The screen is lovely, but after seeing what my dad's ip4 screen looked like after 6 months of no protection, I'll opt for piece of mind.

Not this again -- the old "doesn't happen to me so it can't happen to anyone else" nonsense meme that's so prevalent on every discussion forum out there. Your own experience is your own experience. Don't assume that it neatly extrapolates to everyone out there even if there are others that have the same experience. Care can mitigate scratches, however care is not a guarantee. Accidents happen. It only takes a grain of sand to scratch glass. If you don't see the point of a screen protectors then don't use them. Others want the added security.

My screen protector doesn't. The real question is why you're making such nonsense generalizations. Again, if you prefer not using a screen protector, great. Why are you intentionally clicking on screen protector threads if you have no interest in them? Why do you feel the need to tilt at this windmill and attempt to tell people what they prefer? I mean, I'm not telling you that you have to use one. It's a matter of subjective preference. Do you not understand what that means?

Stop assuming that your preferences are universal. Spend some time looking around and paying attention. It should be obvious that people can and do have preferences that differ from your own.

I don't see how a screen protector could get any better than the Moshi iVisor AG. The only drawback is it's anti-glare only.
You answered yourself there. Better is always subjective. Not everyone's a fan of antiglare screen protectors. Again, never assume that your preferences are universal.

Simple. You tell them "pick your poison". Every option has pros and cons. Anyone that thinks otherwise is deluded.

In any case, it really is still subjective. The person may be ignorant but it's still subjective. What one person is willing to tolerate the next may not. Whether a solution exist for the next is an entirely different matter.

People who have been using their phones naked and claim there's not a single scratch are simply not looking at them right.

You will never see light scratches under daylight or cool office fluorescent lights.

You need to see under a warm incandescent light. A 75W (or a 15W energy saving bulb) is ideal. If you still can't see them, try different angles.

There will be scratches.

Whether or not you care is a different matter.

It's really kind of silly, isn't it? "Ya gotta hold it this way, then stand on your head with one eye closed and the sun has to be at 64 degrees in the sky with the sunlight reflecting off of a gray wall before you can see the scratches. But they're there."

I am using a PS: Anti-glare on my 4S and I love it!

Side by side comparison with naked 4 and I can't tell a difference between the two.

I'm posting this to somewhat redact my full support for the skinomi protector. While it protects the screen well and is fairly clear, it picks up dings like nobody's business. With the screen turned off, it looks like the surface of my phone has been through world war III. I guess it's not completely self-healing. However, these dings and wrinkles haven't seemed to affect the screen clarity at all, hence I'm leaving it on.

Those "dings" and "wrinkles" you're talking about may be the orange peel effect.

I don't like the feel of the screen with a protector on it.

You can tell you have on shield on with the Pure Gear ones. I've tried tried and spent a lot of money on shields.
