Screen Protector for Neo: Suggestions?

Howdy everyone,
I was cleaning my MBN screen today and got to thinking about having a screen protector. I opted to not put one on my MBA and that's how it ended up with scratches in the anti-reflective coating. I also would really like to have blue light blocking like my iPhone has as it really messes with my eyes at night. However, I know the space between the keys and display is close and I don't want to inadvertently end up causing damage instead of protecting. What is the best option if a screen protector doesn't create space issues? I don't want the screen looking wonky either because of some cheap blue light filter. For reference, I use a ZAGG Invisible Shield protector on my 15 Pro with blue light blocking and it doesn't give weird color tints

I would advise just not doing it honestly. Sure, you may protect the display and coating from some scratches, but you're just adding something else that negates the anti-reflective coating anyway. Now your screen protector also needs an anti-reflective coating and you're adding extra material that may affect accuracy and glare. Furthermore, you can get scratches in your protector too, and how much do you really risk damaging the display anyway? You presumably hardly ever touch it, other than occasional cleaning.
If you do get one, I would recommend not getting any with color filtering; These displays are really good and colour accurate and it's a shame to ruin that. Just enable Night Shift in macOS (also exists on iOS) to get the system to reduce blue light emission by the screen itself. It's adjustable in settings to what degree you want it.

Thank you @casperes1996. I will try the Night Mode route and make sure to clean regularly and keep the computer away from damaging scenarios.
