Has anyone found a screen protector remotely close to spigen? I love their offering but figured id see if anyone knows of a brand who is offering similar product with cheaper pricing by now?
So far, no. I've tried quite a few and Spigen cannot be beat based on install and quality.

i also used something very similar under the brand wsken. looks the same. flawless install, but mine seemed to scratch easily. came 4 in a pack and i used 3. been using a spigen ez fit now for at least a month and so far no scratches.

Have found the same after a week. Scratched so easy.

Back to the Belkin UltraGlass for me. They are the worst to install though, they align well but they attract dust like nothing else. I just cannot ever get them to go on first time, always need to do a couple of installs. At least they have a lifetime warranty.

Are the Mothca (matte screen protectors) as good as they say? Some people say they are the best matte glass protectors, that the grain is minimum and zero fingerprints and reflections. Is it true?

I know matte protectors are always going to take a bit of sharpness from the image, but maybe some are better than others, maybe some don't distort as much the image... Thank you.

I used one for awhile but after switching back to a regular non-matte Spigen, I can certainly say that Mothca affects the quality to a noticeable extent and the brightness also decreases slightly.

I'm using X Glass from Gadgetshieldz which is pretty good, it covers edge to edge and is good with touch sensitivity. It also fits well with any case, so I had no issue with my Spigen! I dropped my phone in steps and nothing happened to the glass not my phone's screen so it is a good protector.

As the iPhone 14's have been out for a while and most screen protectors have been tested, what would you say is the best one for the 14 Pro/Pro Max?

I know the Spigen protector is very popular. Is the Torras screen protector any good/better than Spigen?

i have tried a few, wsken, amfilm and belkin but ive come to see why spigen is so popular. spigen is relatively easy to install flawlessly and they are excellent quality. i don’t baby my phone at all and after several months, 7 or 8 i think, it looks and feels just as good as when i installed it.

I got a 14 PM since Monday and ordered to it the Spigen EZ fit screen protector...and I can happily confirm that its very very easy to use. I was skeptical but after I did hear so many positive things about it, I wanted to give it a shot. And I am happy that I did!

I have a conspiracy theory that the Belkin Ultraglass sold on the Apple Store and the Belkin Ultraglass sold (at a lower price, like -40% to -60% when on sale) on Amazon (I’m talking straight from Amazon, no 3rd party sellers; Belkin themselves advise to buy from Amazon to avoid fakes) feel slightly different to the touch and look slightly different (the pricier one from the Apple Store being better, more premium).

Just to confirm if anybody else had this feeling: am I imagining things?

I have been a huge fan of the FloLab screen protectors. Recently I dropped my phone and put a chip in the protector. I ordered a one day delivery of the Spigen with the EZ install thingy from Amazon. I ordered the one without the huge top cutout.

It did go on super easy but even with the alignment gadget, I felt it was misaligned to one side so I removed it and reinstalled it again. I wish it didn’t have such large gaps on the edges. Other than that, seems to be really good keeping smudges at bay.

What looks different and feels different about them?

I thought I had found the perfect screen protector. Got the otterbox glare guard from the apple store. Does an amazing job in reducing the glare yet is still so clear. Unfortunately it started pealing after just 3 weeks. Hopefully they will replace it under warranty.

Had the same on two of them, never had this issue with the Belkin UltraGlass.

Has anyone compared Spigen vs Belkin for the oleophobic coating?
How can you possibly compare oleophobic coatings?
I know some people say some are better than others, but other than with a side by side identical set of conditions (nearly impossible), how can you really compare them?

Put screen protector A on the phone - how long does it take the coating to wear off?
Put screen protector B on the phone - how long does it take the coating to wear off?

For example, the oleophobic coating on those cheap eBay/Amazon protectors wears off in about two weeks, I've found on the Belkin it's months.

So you have some way to quantitatively measure this length of time vs "oleophobisity"?
Or just opinion?

I've owned both multiple times.

Belkin's oleophobic coating takes a crap on Spigens. If anything, Spigen used to have a better oleophobic coating before they introduced the EZ trays.

Belkin is as good as it gets and if you can't find Belkin near you, Zagg's highest tier offering is pretty much just as good. Oleophobic coating as well.

Thanks, is there anything else close? I love the Belkin except that the installation process just attracts dust like nothing else.

So far all of my belkin ones had the same issue, only difference is the belkin ones would take longer peel like maybe a few months. Where as the otterbox one did in a few weeks. Thanks for your input.

Spigen, Belkin, ESR, JTech & amFilm - used them all, none of them have ever peeled unless it was caused by the case (Otterbox cases can be a sod for that)

For me the best fitting and easy application are the Spigen EZFit ones; no issues with them whatsoever

I think a few months is fair to be honest? You can get a free replacement.

The oleophobic coating has probably warn off by that point anyway, so I'd probably be replacing the protector anyway.

I found the oleophobic coating rubs off very quickly on the ESR and amFilm protectors.
