Here's my fully Amazon'd Ultra. I thought black should make it "slimmer" but I don't think it's working. LOL

After getting the US$100 off deal on my 41mm Series 7 GPS, I decided to get Smiling Tech covers and screen protectors. It's a 2 pack for US$9.99. I also got a Spigen bumper, but there is no screen protector.

Last week, I apparently knocked the watch into a door jamb or something and cracked the screen protector. Since it's built well, it stayed together, even as I removed it from the watch. That's good for the price.

Installed this on mine. I keep banging my watch into stuff at work and the peace of mind is worth it. Managed to get a small crack in my s7 albeit it was an aluminum model.

I got mine today. It was easy to install. Feels good as well. Got a little bit of bubble.. There were two piece of glasses so, better luck next time may be.
Bought a Spiegen case as well. Thought it would look ugly but it doesn't. It makes a bit difficult to wear Alpine loop as the case make the loop to get jammed. Can remove easily so, can wear without it sometimes. What do you think?

I find those air bubbles go away if you just keep pressing them down. It can take quite a while, but they always go for me.

I got some generic Uniqueme screen protectors from the German Amazon store a couple of weeks ago for my series 7 and so far so good. Coating could be a bit better with regards to fingerprints but other than that seems to stay on very well and cannot tell just by looking that it's on.

Picked up this screen protector for the series 7/8. Installed it perfectly. It’s a wet application glass screen. Time will tell how good it will last. Almost can’t tell that’s it’s even there.

While there have been a lot of debate on using cases and screen protectors for a watch, my lifestyle and work will benefit from having a screen protector and for my sense of well being.
I've googled around and was wondering what everyone is ordering. I was lucky to get be in the wave of shipping on 4/24. I wonder how well these will fit? Will a glass screen protector like the iPhone work with the force touch?
Wouldn’t be without one as I up grade my watch every year and always do the Apple buy back thing so won’t risk knocks etc.
My one issue is lack of screen sensitivity which can be really frustrating when flicking through watch faces in particular but absolutely dreadful if I’m running and it’s raining and my fingers are wet or sweaty. You can forget about any screen response then which isn’t good when I’m timing runs.
The cover looks ok and doesn’t distract. Will get again, as indeed I have each year. Good value too.

You're right, it looks like it could. I can't find any reviews of this type of screen protector. I'm not going to risk it myself unless I find out it's a decent product.

Ordered this one. Should arrive in the morning. I always use IMOs sapphire on my iPhone so I figured I’d give their sapphire a shot with the frame for the ultra. I’ll update once installed

Just some input for two different types of SP's for two different watches. I've installed A LOT of screen prtectors in the past from wet to dry to glass.

First watch. I just got an Ultra to replace my S4. I was about to pull the trigger on the Spigen but read that it doesn't come quite to the edge of the bezel. I could just imagine the dust that would collect in that gap.
I came across this one (2 Pack Tempered Glass Screen Protector with Auto-alignment Installation Tool) that stated it does go all the way to the bezel so I thought I'd give it a shot.
Installation was perfect. Goes all the way to the bezel. Coating is nice and slippery. I honestly prefer the Ultra WITH a screen protector because it lets the glass sit almost flush (just a hair above) with the bezel which makes swiping up, down and sideways much nicer than with the bezel up above the glass. Win, Win.

Second watch. On My S4 for the longest time I hated screen protectors because after a short while the corners would end up lifting and I'd have to replace it. At the time I was doing wet installs and it was a little bit of a pain. After a while I said screw it and stopped using them.
My wife on the other hand insisted on a screen protector on hers.
By chance when I was ordering some for her I got these (LK TPU Screen Protector). I can't begin to say how much I like these. Dry installation. The installation steps look a little convoluted but I assure you it all makes perfect sense once you do it. With their installation system you get a bubble and dust free TPU install. TPU isn't as nice as glass but on the rounded series Apple watches they make the most sense. THese actually feel really nice too. So nice that when I had my S4 I ended up using them after I got some minor scratches. As a side note the TPU makes all the minor scratches disappear.
