The old System Profiler is called System Information in Mojave. Curiously, to get to it from the About this Mac window, you click on System Report.

System Information appears in the Apple menu if you click on the Apple while pressing the Alt key.

Hi Is it possible Apple software updates can somtimes contain bugs? I recently installed updates for OS Mojave and soon found my Macbook Pro started behaving differently.

My impressions from that thread was that their problems were because of bad timing. They were having problems during the Apple server problems (see Posts 12, 13, 14 of the thread). I experienced the same slow downs and stalls during that time and I was not performing the updates. I waited until the next day and performed the updates with no problems.

Problems with system freezes due to TCCD crashes were resolved in Security Update 2020-007.
