If you really want to be inspired by the Vapor, just start taking pre-orders on them; people will probably give you money and you can wait a couple of months before you have to bother actually making them.

I, personally, am not a fan of sleeves, but with that said, you did a phenomenal job on it! Looks great! Good work

at first I thought I was gonna come in here and see an actual wooden version of the Vapor4 which woulda been gnarly!! I really like and want this sleeve but I would never use it though

Absrnd, ever thought about making it like the element vapor?

Around the edge...maybe a small slit cut on the back side to slide in a nice backcover? You might be on to something there...im sure if the cost is right, you could be in business :D

Again, fantastic job...

I will probably try to make a exact vapor wood case, just to see if it would work, but not mass produce it or sell any.

I have seen the whining on the Vapor case thread, and don't want to deal what that kind of people

here are some more pics, I have added the apple logo and two "exhausts" for the speaker :)
both done in steel.
the brushed metal logo was inspired by a wallpaper I saw :)

dude, seriously, do you know you can make heaps of money?

gigapascal.com
elementcase.com

they all started just like you are doing right now

gigapascal isn't in operations right now, but during the 2g era they were making big bucks. and elementcase, well in an interview, he said it would take 1 or 2 days to make one case. now they are doing pretty good.

I know, and I already do :).

Can't say I blame u for not wanting to deal with vapor customers. Lol even tho I'm one I haven't started bitching yet

Stunning!

Wow, this is simply gorgeous! It's an amazing wood case! Are you considering better material for the inside? Actually what are you using at the moment? :)
It's amazing! No no, it's magical :D Maybe you should try a version where the wood has lighter color. Just a suggestion. Maybe even some kind of engraving :)
Anyway excellent work mate! Really good, I saw this guy on page one where he says wood and iPhone don't get along but they do! hey really do!
These two last pics are enchanting. Sweet case mate, sweet!
Keep up the good work!
p.s.
maybe you can give us better pics of the " exsausts " ? :D

Not gonna lie, that case really does turn heads. but question...do you seriously carry that around with you in your pocket? I mean don't get me wrong, it looks amazing, but i can imagine how hard that thing would be to take out of your jeans pocket to answer a phone call. Still though, looks sick. I love it.

OP, can you please give us a estimation on how much itd be to buy one? and how long itd take? thank you! can you also post a picture of the phone while its in the case 100%? thanks!
