That looks gorgeous, great work! But, how is this anything like the Vapor? lol

Was going to ask the same thing.

Not insulting the case by any means - it's obviously a gorgeous piece of work...but a sleeve case made of wood is inspired by a bumper style case made of metal?

Interesting ;)

that's why I used the word "inspired", that means you steal certain parts of an idea, in this case some of the design features.

have another look at the first images, and don't forget to look at the edges of the case :)

Just amazing. First good looking DIY case ever, if not the first DIY iphone case ever

curious about the inners. Did you pad it up with something to prevent scratching and from the iphone just slipping out?

Very, very nice. Looks to be a cocobolo wood? As a guitarist who loves the different wood variations, this was really neat. =)

That is a dope case and I don't even like wooden cases. Good stuff!

My headphones don't have volume control, and with the buttons I can change the volume without taking the iPhone out of my pocket :).

The case still needs small holes for the speaker, and I want to have the Apple logo on the front, like my old 3GS case

Looks like Macassar Ebony....yes?
