My watch 4 made it from China to my door in 2 days, but my phone which is on the same flight as most people on this thread is scheduled for Wednesday. Why? 🙁

Did you have an existing online order that you will now have to return? Seems like you can't interrupt an "in progress" IUP order.

Mine is also in Hong Kong with "Delivery Rescheduled" and no date on UPS, though Apple still says Monday. Not sure how that's gonna happen, but it's gonna be a looong weekend, that's for sure. Would help if I wasn't so damn materialistic. I blame growing up in the 80's. 😉

XS 256g Silver, btw. Ordered Friday morning.

Yes when it arrives I’ll just ship it back for free, just had to print a shipping label and it has to be back October 5th, they give you 14 days to send it back. I ordered from Apple. Unlocked 64gig Max.

Gotcha, so you ordered SIM free, not one via the iPhone Upgrade Program?
 
My local Apple store has phones available today but I’m on the upgrade program. Does anyone know if I could go get a phone today instead?

Same.

Seems everyone coming from Alaska at 7:41pm is now showing delivery date unavailable. Apple still shows Monday. I'm not too concerned. I think we'll still get it Monday.

Remember how UPS had shown people's Friday deliveries coming on Monday? That was just an error on their side. I bet it'll update on the next scan.

Other than clearing customs, the last thing I show is leaving Alaska at 7:41, but I still show a Monday delivery date, not delivery date unavailable.

I have an Alaska departure at 7:41 and UPS still says delivering Monday. They probably made it to Louisville and didn’t get scanned. They will process them and have them to local hubs before getting loaded on trucks for delivery Monday. Probably won’t see movement until Sunday night

lol This is kinda frustrating. I think this may be the last time I pre-order. All the UPS stuff was kinda fun but not getting my phone till next week Wednesday while everyone else is enjoying theirs is a little bothersome. lol. Especially because people are ordering 2 days ago and getting same delivery date as mine and I ordered 6am pre-order day. I'm not mad, just probably won't do this again, lol.

Especially because I'm 10 mins from an apple store now. (used to be 1+ hours).

Same, I ordered mine 9 minutes after preorders opened (the app froze) and here I sit. I could have just waited and picked one up on store. >|

Exactly this for me. I preorder every single year and every year it seems that something bizarre happens and I get screwed. I could walk into the store and get my phone today but instead I’m waiting for a phone that UPS can’t even tell me where it is or when it will get to me.

Definitely should have just gone in-store (and will next year) - there are several Apple stores in Portland area and all have my 256GB SG XSMax in stock. Don’t know how long this ZZ nightmare will last.

There have been years though where you couldn’t find stock in the stores until weeks after the launch. If you are paying in full for the phone, it’s best to pre-order and then plan to go to the Apple Store on launch day if your phone won’t be delivered. Then just return the shipped phone. Apple makes the return process painless. Several people here posted that this is what they are doing or have done. Although, my wife was at the mall yesterday and she said the Apple Store in the evening had a line a mile long. I’m guessing the same goes for today. I want my new phone but the thought of waiting in a line tells me to just be patient.
 
Here’s where I’m at today. Ordered the morning of preorders, about 7am. It’s been a roller coaster this year for sure. Went from a Monday delivery to delivery date unknown.
