He just said he doesn't have it because the stream didn't disable his screensaver, so it came on.

That did the trick. It's streaming there and the site is spoiler free at least from what I can see. Thanks

Nope, All I get is this:

The centre image/text is being displayed using quicklime though, which is odd. At least I get the quicktime context menu when I right-click on it (Windows 7). Perhaps it's region restricted? I'm not in the US.

No. It says "Available shortly".
Though it's probably because it's a stream and it can't be viewed on Windows, if I had to guess. Are they even going to post the actual video up?

It's just the quicktime browser plugin, don't see what difference there would be.

Still a bit confused about the mac only Quicktime thing, like MS Silverlight only less compatible. 😱
What ever happened to Apple pushing open and neutral HTML5 solutions anyway?
Actually, I'm not even sure if HTML5 can do live video streaming to begin with. I'd be surprised if it couldn't though.

The Live Stream of the Media Event was very good and smooth for the most part. I would like to see Apple do this again as well as other major Apple-related events.
