While this may seem to be crazy - make sure you are clicking at the right edge of the text field - it is based on SwiftUI and that is an issue with the text fields.

Updated to 2.0.2 too and yes, Screensaver now works!
But there's some other graphic issue, ok, not really an issue: There should be some short animation while using Safari's new "remove elements"-feature. And this is not showing on 5,1 with RX 570. The element just diappeares.
Yes - before I didn't notice but after logging in via App Store, I did notice I had to select the field on the right.
I've had quite a few graphic anomalies as I go along, but none that reoccurred.
I should note that as I've seen that the iPhone mirroring, won't work for lack of a security chip or some such, I haven't looked at new features, I'm just early adopting and want to replicate my Monterey install.

In my quest to install earlier versions of software that work on Monterey and may not trigger AVX/AVX2 issues, I can report:
Photoshop 2022 (23.5.x) is looking OK, opened, created and used filters on images and it seems to work, not extensive testing but OK for my use.
Logic Pro, 10.6.2 wouldn't take, 10.8.1 is in and looking OK and Im just tidying up the Instrument files on another Disk, 50ish Gb...
Did a clean install of Sequoia on my 2024 Mini yesterday, upgrading from Ventura. It’s all good except I can’t seem to synch the Calendar with my 2017 iPad Pro, though both are “on” in the respective iCloud profiles. Notes and photos synch just fine. Major issue is the “Certificate expired” message in Print Center, which clearly shows my HP printer (as “paused” ???). I’m at a loss as how to fix this, though printing still works fine from the iPad and iPhone.

Success!!!! installed sequoia today on my 5,1 on a ssd sata. Didn't expect it to go this easy but it did, OCLP 2.0.1. I made the usb installer while booted in sonoma, after that was done i simply clicked on usb, clicked on the installer icon and picked the destination drive. Also note that im hardwired to the internet, i have no use for wifi or bluetooth, so im not checking if it works. I never installed a macos in that manner but here i am claiming victory!!!! Thank you devs.

On my main machine i still run Moterey and will keep using it. Just need it for the RX 6800 to work.
Yes, can confirm that. CC 2022 seems to work properly with Sequoia.

BBedit 14.6.9 - Good.
Lightroom Classic 8.4.1 The edge frame, flashes a bunch, when opening, but settles down and imported 7,000 photos, works well.
Final Cut Pro 10.7.1 seamless, created modified and played a short clip, looks OK.
Motion 5.6.7 ditto.
None of these have had extensive testing, I am also using Monterey as a daily driver.
I'm cautious, after having had Sonoma go belly up, so many times, I reckon OCLP 2.0.2 is the charm.

It's the wallpapers. I don't have Sequioa up yet in VirtualBox but Ventura + Sonoma in VB... you pick a picture for your background and you're fine (they're at the bottom.. the first couple are IMHO dull but pick the "show all" and there's some nice ones in there). You pick the other backgrounds and.. sometimes it seemed to work fine. Sometimes I'd get a background pic for like a fiew seconds then it'd turn white. Other times the background pic was there, but WindowServer CPU time goes up to like 180%+ on a 2-core VM or 380% (on a 4 core VM) and it's laggy as all hell. Why having the background pic change a few times a day would use any different code paths than just changing the background pic once, I have no idea, but there ya go.
Worth a shot -- I'll try that when I get 15 going. I won't sweat it too much if I don't get it going though -- I run my macOS VMs once in a while in a window, so I don't need things to be quite as nice as I would expect if I was running it fullscreen as my main OS.
Still on Monterey since it needed quite a long time to get 10gbe running on my 5,1. Can anyone confirm working 10gbe on any Ethernet card on Sequioa?
And what about WiFi/BT module upgraded (not card extended) 5,1 machines? Will they be supported properly?

So I'm running VirtualBox, not MP5,1, but VirtualBox has the restrictions of no AVX or no AVX2 that MP5,1 does. TLDR version, I can report 15.0.1 runs fine on it. But the CryptexFixup (no AVX2) patch probably means OTA *won't* work (it didn't used to), you'll probably have to download full 15.0.1 installer and install that.
I prepared my VirtualBox (which had been running 14.7) with OCLP 2.0.2 etc. intending to update to 15.0. Took a little fidding to get it to boot into 14.7 to begin with (I tell it I had a MacBookPro10,2 since that has everything working but ethernet and "no AVX" support). Add ethernet driver (AppleIntel8254XEthernet -- I have no idea if the IntelMAUSI would work, I didn't try it since this one works). And add the "no AVX" patches from MacPro 5,1 OCLP settings (NoAVXFSCompressionTypeZlib-AVXpel and NoAVXFSCompressionTypeZlib). And I turned on keyboard input on the boot screen, and set resolution (since the default "max" -- since VirtualBox doesn't have a physical monitor -- picks something ridiculus like 8K or 16K resolution or something). (My physical CPU now does have AVX and AVX2 -- I'm on a Coffee Lake... although I previously did use a Ivy Bridge with no AVX2 setting this up. But in VirtualBox, AVX and AVX2 don't pass through without "Nested Paging" being turned on, and macOS doesn't boot with Nested Paging. So no AVX or AVX2 in VirtualBox with macOS.)
So 15.0.1 came out in the interim so I updated to that instead. You have to use the InstallAssistant.pkg (download the full 15.0.1 installer), OTA updates don't work with CryptexFixup (no AVX2) patch, but it installed and ran fine. Unless OCLP 2.0.2 setup changed something so OTA does now work on these models that need CryptexFixup. Just for fun I installed Sequoia 15.0.1 over a working installation of Monterey on a spare SSD.
And so far it works fine, for what I use it for!
I can watch BBC video on Safari & Prime video works.
Prime video App works
Apple Mail Works
Adobe Bridge works for photos but not Video and Audio workflows (which I already knew about)

I'm using a 5,1 (2.4Ghz 12-core) with 15.0.1 and a Logitech c920--the audio on the camera works but I get a black screen in Facetime, Zoom, and Photo Booth. I've tried USB in the back, in the front, on a USB 3 card, back/front without the USB 3 card in--black screens all around. The camera works fine on the machine with Monterey installed. Same goes for a c930. Someone on the OCLP Discord suggested it might be due to the USB 1.1 limitations, but I've also seen links on Canon's web site that indicate something broke in their camera-related software when Sequoia was released. I'm hoping it's something 15.1 or a subsequent update might fix.

I did try 15.1 w/ OCLP 2.0.2 and I'm getting the same behavior: black screens, after a momentarily flicker of the webcam light in Zoom or Facetime.
The thinking over on the OCLP Discord is that it's something in the root patches. Several of us have removed the root patches and been able to use webcams--that includes me--but there are graphics-related issues that make doing this unpalatable. Once we reinstall the root patches, the graphics stuff is fixed, but the webcams are back to black screens.
One thing I did NOT try in 15.1 is the USB 3 card--I did all internal USB. I wouldn't expect anything to be different, though. I think the issue is the graphics root patch rather than the USB one.
Just for interest, I have Sequoia 15.0.1 on a Mac Mini, a MacBook Pro and a Mac Pro 4,1/5,1 - OCLP 2.0.2
They each seem to work OK

When you say Mac Pro seems to work OK on 15.0.1 and OCLP 2.0.2, do you have a USB webcam to try? That is the only issue I have on my Mac Pro 5.1 - no video with USB webcam for FaceTime.

I succeeded using OCLP 2.1.2 on a SanDisk 64GB USB flash drive without data Migration during installation.
I used a front Hub to connect my mouse and my keyboard.
The WiFi is working BUT NOT the Bluetooth (I have already replaced the native BT module by a famous the model:BCM94360CD)
Any help please would be appreciated 🙏🏻
