I believe that the new Edition will be entirely different. That's why they call it an "edition."

I have a feeling Tim Cook will see the lack of ROI on the Edition and finally overpower Ive and scrap it. The Edition line must be a loss leader when you consider the machinery required, limited sales, and limited distribution.

Massive scale is Apple's business skill and source of massive profits. The Edition line doesn't seem to tick those boxes.

(Not that this detracts from the fact that I do have an Edition and I love it! :p )

Excellent points but you guys are ruining my dream of an LTE Edition!

The Ceramic Edition is currently showing as "unavailable" here in the UK for both the 38mm and 42mm, it looks like they are being discontinued or updated for the Series 3? i think they will add a new material for Series 3 tho.

Fingers crossed for a black!

Well that's a bit racist :p:D sorry I couldn't resist that joke. I think they will remove the Ceramic like they did with the gold, it seems like every Edition version has a different material, there have been no leaks so far as to what it could be so only time will tell I guess.

Hahahahahaha! Hmmmmmm, think they removed gold more because it was stupidly expensive, ceramic is actually a great material, so maybe more colours? If they did change the material what would they go for? Titanium, Platinum, Elephant Tusks?

The Ceramic Apple Watch looks great, I do personally hope they continue it I would get one, especially if they add new colours. As for new materials I'm not to sure, it would be what they consider "premium" so maybe platinum or something similar maybe?

It's still available in the USA!

It's still available in the USA!

It's not here in the UK so stock is either low (which doesn't make sense since it's not exactly going to sell out) due to Apple not making more (if they are going to update the Edition at the event) or they have simply stopped it. I hope the next Edition model is just as nice tho.

Still available in Canada as well, fwiw. Getting very curious to see what’s coming for the Watch next week.

Thank you. Yes I saw that post where it unavailable in the UK. I see your point. But I made that post so that if someone, in the US was wondering if it was still available. They still have an opportunity to purchase one, if they wish to do so. Just in case it is discontinued.

How about Tungsten-Carbide, very heavy shiny and tough to scratch! I have an Mavado Valor and it is gorgeous !

but that was in the UK.

But Online in the USA as of 12:27 pm on 9/6/2017 The 38mm is still available but not the 42mm. Here's a screenshot.View attachment 716114

They are probably selling the last bit of stock before an update, i wonder what the new material will be in the Series 3 Edition? if they keep Ceramic i might get one as I'm looking to upgrade from my very first Apple Watch.

For series 3, matte black ceramic would be very sleek and different looking. Kind of like the Hublot Big Bang Ceramic or the Omega Seamaster Dark Side Of The Moon

Grey Ceramic, interesting!

Looks like this Blush Gold colour is going to make its way across different product lines. Seems like it’ll be in addition to the other aluminum colours.
