The black and gray is very comfortable.
One thing I noticed just now is the band stretches and the holes become oval.
I have a Nike watch on the way. If apple isn't going to provide replacement bands I will be returning it.
Ceramic looks nice.
I wonder if series 3 will go back to Gold, or if Ceramic is the new top-of-the-line. I was thinking it might make sense for Apple to skip some generations to keep the Gold rare and to justify the huge price tags when it does come around. Or maybe they just didn't sell... I'm sure ceramic is selling much better.

Cmon 10k that was ludicrous.
All the watches are overpriced but I think they hit the upper limit of the sweet spot in pricing with the ceramic
The ceramic was a much better than the 10k+ gold editions...Although I did like my ceramic, there it had an issue with the crown, and after returning it I decided to go with the Hermès instead.
At the end of the day the SS cases go with almost every single band made, where any of the other versions only look good with limited bands.
I may get another ceramic down the road, but for now I'm sticking with the Hermes and added apple care which makes it a 3 year warranty since the Hermes comes with the extra year already.

I wear the real Nike band with the ceramic and the knock off with the Nike Watch

How much were you able to get for the Nike Watch without the band? I'm thinking about picking one up just for the band and selling the rest
Edit: just sold the Nike watch without band for $300. Very not bad.

The strange thing is that cheap rubbery plastic band looks really good with the expensive watch.
This $36,000 watch also has a rubber strap or "Tropical composite" as Patek calls it. AKA natural rubber.

I can picture a bunch of marketing people sitting in a room for a week, ordering 3 meals a day to come up with Natural composite.
It really is a great combination! Congrats! You did not bad on the sale of the band-less watch. I sold mine for literally the watch price minus the standard apple band price (69$ here in Canada) so it was a no brainer for me! Granted the watch was in short supply on day one and the guy was hot to have it, I suspect as more supply is in the chain it will be less likely to not lose a fair bit.
Finally caved in and ordered the ceramic tonight. I have a black aluminum with black sport band series 2 which I plan to return when I get the ceramic. I hope it's really worth the premium over the sport.

I work as an executive in a tech company. I'm a pretty young guy, so dress code is dress pants, tucked in shirt, no tie or anything like that
What goes best in a setting like this? I have the cloud band and the black sports band. Open to others, I have no fashion sense.
