My 256 Silver plus arrives today 8 days ahead of Apples original schedule. I am hoping that my SS42 AW2 moves up the schedule from the 30th Sept. Still on Processing
Still says processing for me as well on my Gold Aluminum AW2 Sport Band. Though last night I did get an alert on my Apple account that said I needed to re-enter my payment info. So I'm guessing they attempted to charge for it but Barclay's blocked the payment.
Updated my payment and contacted Barclays so everything should go through now.
Confirmation email received out for delivery today! Once it arrives I will cancel my original order which I placed on 12th. Obviously only available are certain colours/bands etc, the most popular ones are on hold. Pics to follow (if it delivers) in dpd we trust...
On the whole I find DPD pretty reliable; their delivery drivers are normally nice people too which is a bonus.
Sorry to hijack the thread *briefly* but are the Stainless Steel models slightly more sturdier than the Aluminium ones?
You lucky guys , did any of your orders have the Available in 30 days next to it, I see they have stock of the 38mm black but not the 42 , but it's showing that where as the rest are not available
My original Apple Watch was a SS and I preferred it to the sport. It was heavier and I thought it looked a little classier and it had the sapphire screen and when I sold it after 15 months the screen was still mint. You will get micro abrasions on the metal but those polish out easily so it looked prestige when I sold it
Just got delivery confirmation for lunch time from DPD, it was showing as in stock and available for immediate delivery not as showing in stock for 28days.
However I've just logged into my Apple account and guess what, my order that was due to come on the 30th of Sept is also preparing for shipment so I can't cancel that now either. No idea when its now due but it is still showing as 10 days away the actual delivery date hasn't changed.
I will be popping into Apple to return that then, ho hum, might as well add Apple care whilst I'm there.

Bad News! Order will not be delivered today. DPD haven't received the parcel.

Are you going to call them to find out what's going on? Given me the jitters as I think you ordered the same one I did!
Just tried but in a queue and have something to do at 10. Will call them after that. I may cancel - think someone's trying to tell me to go for the Nike and wait!!!

Just spoken to Currys and they don't know what's happened. They have refunded me delivery charges and have promised to deliver tomorrow morning. If that fails I'm cancelling!
