Just checked they have black, silver and rose gold in stock so ideal if you want one from Currys. Just waiting on stock in Argos and I'd be happy - so if anyone sees any please shout!!!

Yes Currys seem to have limited stock of only certain AW, typically the one ordered AS pearl nylon 42mm is out of stock and I have not had any email update :/

What is it with the Watch again this year, they seem to be just as bad with stock as last. I'd have imagined that they'd handle this better this time around.

Argos completely let me down, was initially due for delivery last Monday, and then on Friday the said they had no stock..

Just ordered a Space Grey with black band from Currys. Paid an extra £3.95 for delivery tonight. Would have done in-store collection but delivery was the only option. Figured it is worth the small extra cost for a same day delivery. Will report back if it actually gets delivered tonight.
2 different strap variations, sticking with silver aluminium as I had the space grey last time round

I've just rung apple and they have no stock for silver or black in Aluminium and delivery is expected 15th to 30th October!!
Have ordered the silver/white sport 42mm through Currys! They've told me likely thursday, max next Tuesday. I'll keep you posted!

Yes Birmingham is a good bet. Was the only place to get an Edition outside of Selfridges, London this weekend. They had one on Saturday as well as a few other models.
Bit the bullet and ordered the 42mm White/Silver watch - due to arrive tomorrow fingers crossed! So excited!

My order from the 13th is being collected by the courier today according to Currys, but they can't give me a delivery date yet so need to wait for the courier to text/email.
I had ordered a Space Grey Aluminium 42mm with black sport strap from Apple Store in Manchester on the 10th September with an anticipated delivery of 11th to 24th October. After reading this thread i ordered one from Currys with projected delivery of tomorrow. So cancelled my Apple order as even if the Currys one is not delivered tomorrow I cannot believe it will 3 to 4 weeks for delivery. Will let you know if I hear from the courier and when it arrives. Crossed fingers

Has anyone who's pre-ordered through Apple had their shipment date moved up at all? I ordered when pre-orders began and it's been processing and stayed at Sep 30 delivery since.

Well still no tracking e-mail from Currys yet to say it has been dispatched, will be very disappointed if an order today arrives before a pre-order made nearly a week and half ago sent. Currys will have to go a long way to restore their reputation in that case (Well the little reputation they had anyway). Shame they couldn't learn from Best Buy US
