No I got text from Argos this morning saying that my pre order will be delivered on the 16th.
I have an order with Apple for a black Sport S2 42mm, dated for a few weeks down the line. Hopefully the Apple Shop will have some in on launch day. Not holding much hope as the online reservations allow for Series 1 but not Series 2 to be reserved.
What model did you order?How is this possible? I ordered at XX:02 and my order is still processing

Considering pick up is unavailable for the watch and various posts from CS, it's looking like stock in store will be non existent/limited
Hey guys, first time poster in this thread! I'm a regular over in the UK iPhone Pre Order thread though, just didn't realise or even think there might be an Apple Watch one! I've gone for the aluminium 42mm with black nylon strap and it's preparing for dispatch! I thought it might get delayed as there as a payment issue I had to sort out with Halifax/Apple but that's all sorted and all good to go for delivery on the 16th!
I will be the victim of unluck it seems... still processing items and no charge on CC yet. Delivery date is still 16 sept...
Has anyone else who's ordered from Argos got a message saying:
"There may be a delay with your order. We are trying to contact you. Please call us for an update on 0345 640 2020"?
I think it might be because I tried to get it delivered yesterday not on release day but it's got me worried! I found that order tracking page by clicking "where's my order" in the email they sent.

My CC hasn't been charged yet but my order says preparing for dispatch so I wouldn't worry just yet.
I wouldn't worry. They sent me a text saying you will not get your delivery today. You will get it on the official launch day this Friday
Yeah I got that text too - but for the order where I mistakenly preordered the Series 1 - not one for my Series 2 order! Hmm...
Think I will wait and order the Nike version, the other ones are not shipping until the middle of october now anyway for home delivery.
I'm considering upgrading to Series 2 in the New Year; I really like the Nike + band(s).
Shame they don't appear to be sold separately (yet).
A lot of third party stockists are selling a lot of Apple accessories at the older prices than the more recent Apple hikes!
I'd imagine as stock is replenished prices will increase?
I think I got my order confirmation at 08.06 for 38mm silver aluminium with peal nylon strap and still no credit card charge, still processing and delivery by 26 sep - 28 sep. Seems weird that the nylon strap or it being 38mm has caused any delay? Would have thought it would be delivered on release day for that particular model. Anyone else having that delay? Not a problem really, just really impatient.

Yeah I just don't get it, it seems like these would be some of the most supplied models and combinations of watch and straps? So surely they would have plenty to go around. It's not like either of us were slow to order. Just seems a bit odd.
WTF? I've just had an email from Argos 'entitled iPhone delay notification' saying they can't deliver my order on Friday because they haven't got stock. But I've ordered a SS Watch 2.
Then I got a text saying a similar thing but it doesn't mention the iPhone.
So I checked my order online and it's still saying delivery on the 16th.
The clueless woman I spoke to at Argos initially said it won't be delivered on Friday and then back-pedalled and said it's just iPhones that are affected.
Anyone else had this? Incidentally, my original order was deliberately placed for delivery on the 16th. I didn't try and get an early delivery.

Got a text from Argos saying the order they previously claimed to have handed over to yodel is magically not going to be delivered now. Anyone know any physical stores likely to have stock Friday morning?
I have ordered an Apple Watch 2 to be delivered on Friday and got the same email and text as you. They need to make their minds up. They told me I would receive it yesterday. Then text me saying it will be delivered this Friday and now this afternoon I get this email and text lol
Same here as you guys. Not entirely sure what I expected when ordering from a company as reliable as Argos...
Just got this email from argos

Oh boy. That's pretty bad... good that they've sorted it out straight away but taking funds before dispatching is bad business for such a big company, all they've done is basically done a disappearing magic trick on a few hundred quid and oh what's this it was behind your ear the whole time!
