After speaking with 5 Best Buy reps between Thursday and Saturday, I’ve been able to piece together what happened to my wife’s Watch. The pre-authorization failed, so it had to be manually configured to work with AT&T. This meant it went into a queue with other Watches and iPhones that couldn’t be quickly programmed. This put it on a delay in their system, which means the delivery date automatically gets adjusted to a month out. In reality, it was about 36 hours, so her Watch was turned over to USPS for shipping and has a delivery date of tomorrow and has arrived at the local post office, so it looks much better than it did Friday.
I know, first world problems, but like I told a couple of Best Buy’s reps, since they’ve remodeled their stores and openened micro stores to be mobile centric, it looks like they could be a LOT better with explaining hiccups like mine, rather than just falling into whatever their system says. It’s not like they began selling cellular devices last week...
