There will more than likely be a NRC app update or redesign that has to be pushed to the App Store first. The watches may already have the new NRC software but will need an update as well. Nike is probably hashing out any last minute kinks. If memory serves me correctly, that’s how it was year as well (NRC app update the day of release)...but that also broke a lot of things. Fingers crossed those without the S4 don’t suffer this year.
 
Quick update: My watch has been sitting in Louisville since 9/30. They're probably holding onto the package until closer to release date. It's too bad: while I know it would be extremely unlikely, I was hoping that it would arrive at my local UPS CC (where I held it for pickup) early and they'd let me get it.

Friday, Oct. 5th. I ordered mine at 3am right when they went live, along with my iPhone XS.

I ordered this one. If no one else has posted photos by the time I get mine on Friday, I'm happy to.
 
Anybody in the UK got any update yet on shipping? Tried some tips from previous posters on tracking via UPS website, but I get about 50/50 Apple deliveries from UPS/DPD, so may not be with them.
 
Retail seller in Finland has delievered nike+ models already to customers. Have yet to see pictures but a sales person at one retail seller confirmed they have shipped as of yesterday and 2 persons claim they have already gotten theirs.

Mine too, already got a return label for it, decided on SBSS instead. My 2 year old Series 2 is way to scratched up for my liking. Sapphire should fix that.

Same here . I bought mine in the first 6 minutes according to the email I have received . Still is processing . Odd

I purchased the summit white nike spot loop band 44m. I wonder if that’s just the most popular one.

What do you all think?

Ditto. Just checked my credit card (for like the 8th time today) and it has been charged by Apple within the last hour. Nice to finally see some movement, I was getting worried.

I concur. I was at a grand re-opening at an Apple store over the past weekend and they had the S4 Nike models on display. I asked if they were for sale and they told me not yet.

Mine still says processing through Apple also, but you can find your tracking number and its current location by going to the UPS website and tracking by reference. Odds are, yours is already on the way.

My payment were completed yesterday so it might be that its not shipped yet, i tried tracking by reference but no success, i tried my order number, removed the first character, removed the last two digits etc nothing. What reference did you use?
 
Mine has been confirmed as shipped. They’re using DPD which is by far the best service in my area, so very pleased. They usually give a 1 hour window for delivery so I won’t even need to have half a day off work, just plan my lunch around the delivery.

Can’t wait :D

It may not be with UPS. Apple will let you know via email as soon as they have handed it to a courier.
 
My order just got updated as Shipped, and its sent with DHL, but no status information at the moment on DHL. Apple still says delivery on the 5th.
 
My 44mm GPS&Cellular is still in Louisville, KY. I had to change the delivery location from my house to a UPS store as I am out of town all day on Oct 5. This will probably delay the watch, but visiting with friends is way more important to me than a watch!
 
I really like the Sport Loop band, its probably the most comfortable one - but my view is that if u only have one band - the standard sports "rubber" band is best especially if you often get your arms wet / swim etc

Drys instantly and far better from a hygiene angle
 
Ordered a Nike+ through Best Buy. It said "Get it by October 5th." My order status so says "in progress" and "get it by October 5th." I've checked both the FedEx and UPS apps and nothing has shipped. Doesn't look like I'm getting it tomorrow. Best Buy has some serious problems with preorders. I thought, after reading some other comments, that it probably wasn't that bad for everyone. It looks like it is. =/

They've had no problem taking the payment from my account, tho.

Edit: Got the shipping number. On route to be delivered tomorrow! Placed the order on September 30th, btw.

Still no movement on my Nike+ 44mm SG LTE. The delivery window still shows Oct 15-22 with the never ending “processing” status. My card has not been charged, either. I placed the order on Sept 16. I was hoping to see some sort of movement, but nothing yet.

I feel like that’s good! I placed mine on the 14th and I’m still processing. Card still hasn’t been charged. My delivery window is Oct 12-19.
