Are you sure that is your watch and not some other order (phone maybe)? I haven’t seen any movement from people with 9/28-10/2 orders, including myself, let alone moving into the 10/5-10/12 window.
44 SB SS, continues to be marked as 9/28-10/2.

yeah I am wondering that too! I am in Holland and so far nothing is found in UPS and I still have a Sep 21 delivery date.

Same thing for me. 44mm SG SS Delivery date 9/28-10/3, but reference number shows delivery on 9/21 but not to my home in Michigan but to someplace in Washington State. Strange, we'll see what happens.
Chances are it's just the same ref number for another package. Probably no relation to the watch.
Luckily I was able to preorder through my ATT business account the S4 44mm space grey aluminum LTE which still had a 9/21 delivery date.

Nothing in UPS still for my wife's 44mm SGS which has delivery date of 21st and is in "Processing." I'm not expecting anything on my 44mm SS which is in the Sept 28 - Oct 2 window, which is still also "Processing." However, our 2 phones have been in UPS for several days already - an XS and XS Max, despite both being "PFS" still...
My aluminum 44mm GPS space gray still has no UPS info at all (checked by reference), supposed to have a delivery date of Sept 21. The hold for the watch on my CC also seems to have dropped off, meanwhile my Xs max was already charged to my CC and has had UPS info since Sunday night..

But I think the procedure is different in Europe. They ship all the AW for European market as a bulk to Europe and Dispatch the Single watches from their logistic center in Prague or Netherlands. To many different logistic partners in europe.
Still see an expected delivery date of 9/21 for my 40mm space gray. Ordered through sprint online early in the morning. Just haven’t seen any movement yet.
Two years ago with the MacBook Pro the apple support gave me a "container id" to track the shipment to the Netherlands. From there DHL or UPS delivered it.
That was one exception. I tried getting the container id from them too, but no luck.
Everything else has always been dispatched from a warehouse near us...
That's what I thought too, just strange it's coming from China to the states with a 9/21 delivery date
I did see someone in this or another thread say they worked for UPS and was under the impression that ALL launch-day watches are either already in Worldport or on their way, and the pallets will be broken apart on Thursday to distribute in time for delivery everywhere in the US on Friday. Logistically, that makes sense, and also explains why nothing has switched to PFS yet or is even in the system, as they're just going to create tracking #s as they load up each box.
So mine is in Shanghai and time stamped 7:04 like most peoples with a 9/21 delivery date. If I select a local store it gets pushed to 9/24. Why the difference in dates or will the actual a tracking number update to 09/24 as well?
Apple store still says 9/21 on my order for a SS Gold 44mm. But only “processing” still and no UPS info. Meanwhile Amazon delivered the “cheap-o” Gold link bracelet I ordered for it. I have the same make in Black and Silver stainlenss and both have held up well. I prefer the weight of the SS band and watch for whatever reason so thought I’d give the gold version of their band a shot too.

Assuming UPS, you need to select the local hub that the watch will go through, or it will push your delivery date one business day.
