Well that was unexpected.

My order went through at 12:19am and had an expected arrival date of Oct 5 - 12. My order skipped from processing to shipped in an instant at about 2am. It is coming FedEx w/ no signature required.

Nice! I ordered the same model on Thursday and it will be delivered tomorrow as well :D

Have a Nike 44mm cell version on order. Not due till October 12 to 19th. Got one line yesterday and found I can get a sport now at an Apple store about 50 miles from me. Bought it yesterday and picking up this morning. Once in my hands I’ll cancel on line order.

Wait so you're saying you picked up a Nike+ watch in store already??

From what I gather here, it’s common to order a watch online, still look locally, and cancel the online order if you get lucky locally. I’m thinking of doing this to help lock in the trade-in value for my Series 3, rather than risk finding the watch I want locally long after its trade-in value has declined.

40mm Nike Watch Delivery Date of 10/5. Apple showing Preparing to Ship. Located Order number via Reference number with UPS. Watch in KY sitting there all week it looks like.

Yeah but I didn't think they had the Nike+ version in stores yet? The post makes it sound like he found a Nike+ in an apple store?

Mine actually got pushed back to Tues, Oct 2nd on the actual tracking page, but it arrived at the local hub last night. So I called FedEx to see if I could just go pick it up (only 20 min away) and they said Apple has restrictions and doesn't allow any changes until after first delivery attempt, BUT it should come today anyway despite what the tracking info says. We'll see.

I should finally be getting my SB SS 44 from my apple.com preorder delivered today. Is it wrong I keep staring out the window even though its 630AM?

Okay, now this is just getting weird or FedEx being FedEx. I have an estimate for tomorrow (Oct 2), and the package arrived local FedEx office yesterday. So I was secretly hoping it to be delivered on its original estimated date, today. Apparently FedEx never makes same mistake twice; they took the package back to TN and scanned this morning.

It's possible that it was always in TN.

When they have so many individual packages moving through the system, it's very time-consuming to scan each one individually.

Sometimes they do a single scan of a batch of parcels, and you get that scan attached to your package even if your package wasn't actually in the batch.

It makes it look like your package is moving when it really isn't.

Is there a pattern to the shipments? Do they go out every Monday, for example?

I'm just curious. Mine is scheduled for 10/12-10/19, but my experience is that they generally arrive about a week before the estimate.

That's interesting. I just assumed FedEx would operate tagging much like airport luggages do, machines scanning as things go through the conveyor belt.

On a side note, my package got scanned again at the local office. Hopefully it will be delivered today!

Mine Nike+ apple watch shows the same thing. Got to KY on Sunday (from China on 9/29). they better not hold these in KY all week and just deliver on Friday... come on apple!

My 44mm SS S4 shipped last week and is now arriving today! FedEx had originally shown today (Oct 1) for delivery, while Apple had shown tomorrow (Oct 2), and then FedEx changed to Oct 2, and then just this morning it said it was on the truck out for delivery! I had been closely tracking it yesterday and this morning and it seemed like it was just barely getting under a lot of the deadlines I've seen for delivery today, then this morning it seemed like it was slightly late getting to the facility in town so I figured it wouldn't go out, but later Deliveries alerted me that it did! WOOHOOO!! Time to kick this Series 0 to the curb—or rather to the display case with the iPhone and the iPad.

October 5 is the official release date for Nike+, so I imagine they will be held.

yeah, I know that. but I guess my thinking was that the nike was just delayed from the regular watch so they had an estimated 10/5 date. I didn't think it'd be a separate "pre-order" / "launch" date like the iPhone Xr... oh well if so. I've waited this long, what's another week :)

I was thinking about the setup when I get home. I'm on AT&T and added a line for the S4. Will I need to do anything to disassociate the S3 watch with my phone so it will sync correctly? I hope that makes a little sense.

Yeah Monday is not one of my work from home days. Fortunately my wife works from home and was able to sign for it. Now I'm dying, lol. I even ran an exercise on my Series 0 at lunchtime because I knew it wouldn't have to last the rest of the day. Ironically I'm at 52% battery for the day which is well above average for this old clunker so IDK what is going on. It think it knows what is coming and is trying to be good so I don't put it away. It has actually done this a few times in the past week, lol.
