I removed the s3 from my phone, paired the new s4 and then when it came for the cellular it asked if I wanted to replace another device. I choose that and all setup.

I removed the s3 from my phone, paired the new s4 and then when it came for the cellular it asked if I wanted to replace another device. I choose that and all setup.
Looked at my local target and they had the model I wanted in stock. Picking it up there and cancelling my order with Apple once I have it. Might be worth looking for those of you with long off ship dates. Mine was the 15th-22nd
congrats to everyone who are finally getting theirs. the SS SB is sooo nice. I feel odd because I keep looking at my wrist and staring at it. yes I have issues 
It looks like Apple must have made some major progress with manufacturing the SS Watches as mine too has gone to PFS last night! I ordered around 2:30 PST and had an Oct 12-19. While I don't expect it by the end of this week, I'm hoping for early next week which would be awesome! Anyone else see movement on a SS Watch?
So every morning I check to see if 44mm LTE with sports loop I have on order is available for local pickup, since my order is October 16-23rd delivery.
Today it showed available at all stores near me, so I contacted Apple to see if I could just change my existing order to a local pickup. She couldn't but since it showed available I went ahead and cancelled the order.
Then went to place my order. Now showing out of stock everywhere.
So irritated with Apple, why on earth does this crap happen year after year after year with high demand products. Now I get to continue trying to get one locally for the next couple of weeks or place a new order that won't be delivered until freaking November.

yea Apple cant change to local delivery, and NEVER cancel the order until you have your product inhand. these things are flying off the shelf.
Might be worth checking your local target. They get their own stock from apple and might have a closer ship date.
Thanks for suggestion... I really don't have a lot of time to run around trying to find one of these. Now I'm kicking myself for cancelling my damn order.

Honestly I had the best luck checking the apple site for inventory about 8am. I think someone said that's around the time they update the website with store stock or something. I was able to snag one by looking at that at 8am then going to store when it opened.

Use iStockNow. You can set up email notifications or push on your phone to check for inventory of any apple device sold at apple stores. It is very up to date.

Unfortunately I can't seem to get notifications to work. I show as signed in, specified the model of watch I want (44mm gray sport loop), choose the store and then when I select notifications it says "your current map doesn't contain any unavailable product! "Hide if no stock" and "New Arrivals" must be unchecked.
Well, both of those ARE unchecked, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Actually that wasn't the issue.
For me to get a notification set up I needed;
"New Arrivals" checked.... and "Hide if no stock" unchecked. The error message indicated both needed to be unchecked but that was not the case.
So, once I had "New Arrivals" checked and I drilled down to a store I was able to select the notification (envelope) button at the top of the page and I then set up notifications for two stores with the exact model I want.
I also installed Telegram app, got it configured, linked that to iStockbot following the directions and hopefully now get an immediate notification when my model shows up at one of these stores.
Hopefully this lets me claw back my place in line and get one of these in the next couple of weeks.
Is apples supply chain rather, well, unorganized? Ordered 2 minutes after the store was back up on pre-order day, got a delivery date 2nd to 9th october. Today i got the mail that they're shipping it. Fair enough, seems quite possible, except, tomorrow is a public holiday over here, deliveries, for the most parts, do not happen on saturdays and mondays, and sundays it is actually illegal. So it is not that many days. Checked the delivery status and it states now that it will be delivered earliest on the 17th. Full 8 days late, and 15 days from today. Anyone having a similar experience?
My Nike version now shows "Shipment Delayed." I ordered it at 12:01 as a pre-order, and I was supposed to have October 5th delivery. This is after it took Apple and UPS 15 days, 3 countries, and 4 states (some of them over three times each) to deliver my iPhone XS after my expected delivery date. Gotta say, this Apple.com pre-order thing has turned out to be one hell of a hassle for me.
Same here still. My card was charged on Sunday though so maybe it did ship but somehow there's no communication of it. *shrugs
