My husband ordered the 44mm Space Black SS with Black Milanese band on September 28. His expected delivery date was Oct 26-Nov 2.
Being impatient (like most of us Apple Watch fans are), he’s been checking the Apple app a few times each day. Surprisingly, yesterday he found an Apple store about 25 miles away with the watch. The salesperson confirmed that she had it in her hand but that she must cancel his previous order first. She also said it was easy to do because his credit card had not yet been charged. Within a few minutes, he received an email confirming the order and shortly after, a notice that the watch was ready for pickup.
Today there are no stores anywhere near us with the watch in stock.
The watch is awesome! Happy husband!

My Best Buy order from the 20th just now notified me that its shipping. Looks like the supply chain is gaining movement.

I'm hoping so. Ordered on Sept 25th, got a delivery date of Oct 23-30. Was hoping for some movement this week, but thinking more and more based on others in this thread that it will be next week at least before anything happens.

Seems like Best Buy has the “best” stock right now...I ordered my 44mm a couple days ago and it just shipped today free 2 day fedex
 
The only reason I haven’t gone to a store is that I have a $125 trade in on a series 2 and $75 worth of gift cards on the online order. Too much of a hassle to cancel now. Of course I could go buy it now and hope I get mine within 15 days. ;)
 
Ordered a 44mm space grey with a silver band. Delivery was supposed to be October 16-23; however, it shipped a couple days ago but seems to be waiting clearance to clear customs in Shanghai. Been stuck in this step for a day now. Anyone have a similar thing happen?

Perfectly normal. You will have it before the estimate of the 23rd. Certainly before the 16th.

Yeah I figured. It was just more of initially the delivery date was scheduled for Oct 12 between 11-3pm but now it’s a tentative date. I’m sure I’ll get it by Friday or Monday.
 
Exchanged a 44mm gold aluminum for gold stainless through Apple. Wasn’t happy with quality of the glass having owned a Series 0 stainless since the first day they came out. Sent Aluminum back on Sept.17 and Stainless was ordered that day. Have a delivery date of October 23-30. Haven’t seen any movement on here for 44 mm gold stainless. Anyone seen a change in their delivery dates for this one? Hoping that it comes sooner than expected. Looks like there is a shortage of this style and size.
 
Anybody else order through Verizon with a 10/10 deliver by date? I ordered my stainless steel on September 19th and it said it would be delivered by 10/10 and that’s today but still no movement! Not sure what’s going on
 
Arriving today. Gold SS Sport band, cellular,40mm, ordered 9/16. What surprises me is that it was processed in China on 10/09 and will be here today via UPS.
