They transitioned to a new display technology. I know details are details, but maybe it had some impact.

Curious why they increased the glass bezel and reduced the metal portion. If I had a stainless steel or titanium model, it would look sleeker to have more of that material surrounding the watch instead of more glass bezel. This is considering the total bezel size is the same anyway.

Speculating here but maybe that's one of the ways to reduce the overall thickness of the watch?

seems like of the few reviews out, not a single mention :O

'uncritical eyes' - I think not... More like scared of not getting an invite next year.

These will be the same people drooling over the slimmer 16 Pro bezels.

Brian Tong has a comparison, but used the worst watch face that has a black background. Surely people can use a full coloured watch face so we can actually see the full display size?

it doesn't look appreciably better to me in that video (even the thumbnail), but it looks appreciably bigger. I guess would have to test drive one to really know but im good for a while maybe the thinness offsets that vibe. idk

I do think the space black sport is nice for a sport, nicer than recent series black sport.

Is it just me or the S10 looks fatter / wider? I wasn't expecting that.

It’s definitely more (rounded) square.

The previous ones were taller than wider so had a more rectangular appearance. Personally think the older ones looked a bit more elegant.
