Seriously thinking about ordering the Edition for my GF, anyone else on board?

My girlfriends birthday is coming up. I was thinking the iwatch edition would be perfect for her. Expensive, yes, but the stock market is doing well so I don't see why not.

Has anyone else ordered it yet? How long are shipping times?
 
Pre orders start April 10th. I think for Edition, though, it's only sold in select/limited locations.

I'm in New York often. I'm sure they'll have one at their retail on 5th.

Never, I could get a watch classes better at that price that would last decades as jewellery.

I'd rather buy a really nice vacation trip with that kind of money. 10K is a bit much for a watch that you can get for tree-fiddy x 100.

Or a bunch of nice musical instruments. Music > watch, for me.
 
I'd probably spend the money on vacationing, unless you're a wealthy multi-millionaire who vacations much of the year in the nicest hotels/rooms already.
 
5 yrs later without a replaceable battery and its a useless paperweight

its harder to spot out those brands unless you really know about them, any person would notice a gold apple watch from far away.

If you want a great gift, I'd recommend the Tiffany's Elsa Peretti bone cuff in Rose gold. I also know many women are fans of the Cartier love bracelets (they aren't quite my style though)

maybe he's rich with more money than brains.

he should buy his gf a car instead. if you have that kind of money to throw away. why not spend more and get her a benz.

Oh dear, in this modern world we live in, plenty of people never marry even if they've lived together for years. If someone wants to buy an expensive gift so be it. What does it matter?

Are their lots of kids, or jealous people in this thread?

It's the fact that the OP so poorly veiled flaunting affluence. He knows damn well nobody has ordered one of these yet and shipping times aren't available. If he didn't have that BS to feign ignorance of, he wouldn't have had anything at all to make a thread with.

Obviously he just wants to floss his supposed cash to a forum and made up a couple bogus questions to do so, lol.

Most people I know with that kind of coin don't post on forums, period. Ever seen an active lambo forum? Didn't think so.
 
Someone says they are considering buying their gf the Edition and everyone thinks they are crazy. How much more proof is required to see that whoever at Apple decided to sell a 10k watch was off their rocker?

:roll eyes: so you are now claiming that their are no Ferrari or Rolls Royce or Lamborghini forums, because you have never looked for any?

Perhaps you should pop over to the Mac Pro forum and tell them they are all disgustingly rich and flashing their cash in your face because they bought an expensive computer eh....

Active ones that have high traffic? None. Look around. People with that kind of affluence have better things to do, and if they don't, they generally prefer to stay out of the spotlight. There are forums, sure, but the traffic is few and far between.
